temperatureorvoltagefluctuation.
•Thebatteryindicatorindicatesthestateofbatteryconsumptiontoavoidtheunit'sfailuredueto
batteryexhaustion.
•Compactandhighlyreliable.
4. HANDLING PRECAUTIONS
•Donot expose the unit to rain or anenvironment where it may be splashed by wateror other
liquids,asdoingsomayresultinunitfailure.
•Neveropennorremovetheunitcasetomodifytheunit.ReferallservicingtoyournearestTOA
dealer.
•Takecarenottodroptheunitontothefloornorbumpitagainstahardobjectastheunitcouldfail.
•Donotusetheunitinlocationswhereitisexposedtoseawater.
•Toclean,wipewithadrycloth.Whentheunit gets very dirty, use a cloth damped in a neutral
cleanser.Neverusebenzene,thinnerorchemically-treatedcleaningclothbecausesuchvolatile
liquidscoulddeformordiscolortheunit.
Toavoidtheunit'sfailure,donotusetheunitinlocationswhichvibrateorwheredust
accumulates.

6. OPERATION
Step 1.Removethebatterycoverandplacethebatteryasshownbelow.(EnsurethatthePower/
volumeswitchissettotheOFFposition.)
Step 2.Replacethebatterycoverandsecurelylockit.
Step 3.SettheChannelselectorswitchtothesamechannelasthetransmitter.
Step 4.ConnectanoptionalearphonetotheEarphoneoutputterminalandputtheearphoneon
theear.
Step 5.SwitchonthepowerbyturningthePower/volumeswitchclockwise,andadjustthevolume.
TheOperation/batteryindicatoreitherlightsorflasheswhenthepoweristurnedon.
Step 6.Turnoffthepowerafteruse.

Step 1.Setthe WT-5100’s powerswitch to the OFF
position.

BesuretoturnofftheWT-5100'spower
switchwhencharging.Batteriescannotbe
correctlychargedifthepowerswitchisON.
Step 2.PlacetheWB-2000rechargeablebatteryin
theWT-5100.
Step 3.Fully insert the WT-5100intothereceptacle
oftheBatteryCharger.
TheBatteryCharger'schargingindicator
lightsredandchargingbegins.
Chargingiscompletedinapproximately3
hoursandtheBatteryCharger'sfull-charge
indicatorlightsgreen.
Notes
• Iftheredchargingindicatordoesnotlight
eveniftheWT-5100hasbeeninsertedinto
thecharger,checktoseeiftheWT-5100
hasbeencorrectlyinserted.
• TheWT-5100becomeswarmaftercharging
completion,howeverthisisnotafailure.

Whencharging,neverinsertrechargeablebatteriesotherthanthe
