®
es lo último en productos "hazlo tú mismo"
de pisos. Sin necesidad de usar adhesivos o pega-
mentos engorrosos.
La flexibilidad de allure permite que las tablas
que se instalen sobre contrapisos con desniveles,
(ver Preparar el Contrapiso en la página 5) o los
pisos existentes, tales como la madera natural,
concreto, vinilo, linóleo e incluso cerámica,
¡para ahorrar tiempo y dinero!
Tablones y losas de allure ven y se sienten como
la madera real o cerámica / piedra. Es a la
humedad tópico resistente al agua tales como
fugas y derrames. Se puede instalar en cocinas,
baños o sótanos (ver sección de preparación del

Material needed for installation:
Most installations require 10% overage for cutting
(waste) and mistakes but that can vary depending
upon the room size and layout. For installations on
a diagonal allow a 25% overage when purchas-
ing allure. It is always recommended to have
extra planks available after the installation is com-
pleted for future needs or replacement. Make sure
the correct # of cartons and pattern/color name
(match the PO) are on the job site and also make
sure all of the cartons are from the same run #
(dye lot). The run # is located on the ends of the
cartons. Some slight color variation can happen
from run to run. Always install planks/tiles from
more than one box at a time (min. 3 cartons).
Note: Matching transition moldings are available
via special order at The Home Depot. They include
T-Moldings, Multi-Purpose Reducers, and Quarter
Round. Also available are "Under" Transitions.
Under Transition strips allow you to change direc-
tion of your flooring within a room or between
rooms without seeing the molding.
How many cartons to purchase
Example: 10’ x 10’ room installation (100 sq.ft.)
including 10% overage = 110 sq.ft.

Cómo acondicionar allure
®
antes
de la instalación:
allure Plank and Tile* debe aclimatarse en la
habitación de la instalación durante 48 horas
como mínimo con la temperatura entre 65º y 85º F
(18ºC y 30ºC) antes, durante y después de la
instalación. El sistema HVAC debería estar en
funcionamiento por lo menos dos semanas antes
de la instalación y permanecer en después de la
instalación como allure debe estar en un
ambiente de temperatura controlada. El producto
debe almacenarse horizontalmente en un área
seca, lejos de la luz solar directa. No lo coloques

Limitaciones de la instalación de allure
®
:
allure es para instalaciones en interiores y sólo en
ambientes con temperatura controlada. No instalar
allure sobre alfombras ni contrapisos de espuma
de cualquier tipo. Este producto no es adecuado
para uso en exteriores, terrazas interiores/solárium,
saunas, porches estacionales, remolques de
camping, barcos, vehículos recreativos y quartos
donde haya riesgo de inundación. Evita la
exposición prolongada a la luz solar directa. El no
adecuadamente encanto sombra de los efectos del
sol puede resultar en una falla GripStrip,
decoloración, desvanecimiento, o pandeo del piso.

Newly poured concrete floors must cure for

home owner and the installer to make sure that any
moisture or alkalinity issues are resolved prior to

Wood subfloors:
Hardwoods, Plywood, OSB, Luan, Particleboard &
Chipboard are approved, but must be sturdy, flat
and have little flexibility.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Never install over wooden
subfloors which are installed over concrete.
CONTRAPISOS APROBADOS

Sistemas de calefacción eléctricos y de agua son

superficie del contrapiso de hormigón. El sistema de
calefacción debería estar en funcionamiento durante
al menos dos semanas antes de la instalación para

Pisos de Madera Resistente Existentes:
Las losas, tablas o los productos en láminas deben
estar en buenas condiciones y completamente
unidos al piso estructural. Los pisos existentes no
deben tener respaldo de espuma o de vinilo
acolchado. El relieve pronunciado (0,31 cm) debe
estar en capas de acabados con el nivelador de
piso. Instalación sobre una capa de vinilo existente
es aprobado.
Nota: No lijes, serruches, pulverices, quiebres, ni
apliques técnicas de granallado ni raspes en seco
los pisos de vinilo existentes, refuerzos,
recubrimientos de fieltro, alquitrán, adhesivos
“mermadores” ni ningún otro tipo de adhesivos pues
los mismos pueden contener fibras de asbesto o
sílice cristalina. Varias agencias de gobierno
federales, estatales y locales poseen regulaciones
que controlan la eliminación de material que
contenga asbesto in situ. Si estás considerando la
eliminación de alguna estructura de revestimiento de
un piso flexible que contenga (o que se supone
contenga) asbesto, debes consultar y cumplir todas

Subvaloración de los marcos:
Para asegurar de suelo allure cabe
debajo de la cubierta de la puerta y no
exponer a un 1/4 pulg. (6mm) espacio
de expansión, coloque un serrucho en la
tabla y cortar la cubierta de la puerta a
la altura de la tabla.
Después de que hayas terminado la
instalación, recomendamos pasar un
75 a 100 libras rodillo para pisos sobre

WARRANTY
Halstead New England will furnish replacement flooring free
of charge if there is a loss of original pattern or color under
normal residential use of allure for as long as the purchaser
continues to remain in the residence of the original installation
provided the flooring is installed and maintained according
to the instructions included. This warranty is nontransferable
and pro-rated.
This warranty does not include labor or the cost of labor for
installation of the replacement flooring nor does it include
damage due to improper installation or maintenance, alkalis
in the sub-floor or conditions arising from hydrostatic pressure,
burns, tears, indentations, stains, or reduction in gloss due to
normal use or exterior applications.
This warranty shall not include loss of time, inconvenience,
incidental expenses (such as telephone calls) included in the
removal or reinstallation of the affected material, and any
other incidental or consequential damages.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of
incidental or consequential damages, so that the above
limitations and exclusions may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may
have other legal rights, which vary from state to state.
This warranty is in lieu of any other warranties expressed
or implied.
This warranty service is available only by notice to Halstead
New England through the dealer from whom the purchase
was made. Notification must be accompanied by a copy of
the original invoice and can only be authorized by Halstead.

Garantía
Halstead New England suministrará pisos de reemplazo
gratuitamente, si hay perdida del patrón o color original por
un uso residencial normal del piso allure, por todo el tiempo
que el comprador continúe viviendo en la residencia donde
se hizo la instalación; siempre y cuando el piso haya sido
instalado y mantenido de acuerdo a las instrucciones
incluidas. La garantía es prorrateada e intransferible.
Esta garantía no incluye costos por mano de obra o
instalación del piso de reemplazo ni cubre daños debidos
a una instalación o mantenimiento inadecuados, álcalis en
el contrapiso o condiciones causadas por la presión
hidrostática, quemadura, desgarramientos, hendiduras,
manchas, o pérdida del lustre a causa de un uso normal
o uso en exteriores.
Esta garantía no cubre el tiempo perdido, las inconveniencias,
los gastos incidentales, (como llamadas telefónicas,) producto
de la remoción y la nueva instalación del piso por material
afectado, ni cubre ningún otro daño incidental o consecuente.
Algunos estados no permiten la exclusión o la limitación de
daños incidentales o consecuentes, por lo que la limitación
o exclusión anterior puede no aplicarse a su caso.
Esta garantía le otorga derechos legales específicos, y
puede tener otros derechos que varían de un estado a otro.
