DURATION AND FREQUENCY OF SESSIONS
The frequency and duration of the sessions may vary from one person to another.
It is important to start with short sessions and progress according to how one feels.
Daily, to maintain health:
Start with sessions of 3 minutes a day, then progressively increase to 6 minutes, 9 minutes,
and so on. It is more beneficial to undergo several short sessions in the same day rather
than one long session. It is not necessary to extend a session beyond 15 minutes.
In a courses of treatment:
The Bol d’air
®
sessions generally take place in the form of 20-30 day courses, several times
a year, at the rate of 3 sessions a day if possible.
The course must always be adjusted according to the reactions and feelings of the user.
Please note:
- In some cases, there may be a curative effect (fatigue, recurrence of old or latent
problems) which must not be confused with an “iatrogenic effect” (the term referring to
disorders caused by a medical treatment or a medicine). These reactions are signs of a
boost of energy resulting in temporary disturbances or aggravations of some symptoms
(as is the case during a spa cure, for example, or when commencing a sporting activity).
They generally disappear very quickly.
- The fact that the sessions are spaced out or are interrupted is no disadvantage: the user
cannot become addicted to this method.
- Stimulating vitality can cause temporary tiredness.
- Some people may undergo the sessions to make it easier to fall asleep and improve the
quality of sleep; for others, the energy boost generated by the session may on the other
hand disturb sleep, and in this case it is preferable for the sessions to be carried out in the
morning.
The results of the Bol d’air
®

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING THE UNIT
1. Check the level of Special Bol d’air
®
Orésine
®
Compound
Before each session check that the level of terpene compound suitable for the unit is
adhered to between the 2 dots. If this is not the case, top up the product to restore
the level. (See p.6).
2. Change the Special Bol d’air
®
Orésine
®
Compound
For best results the product must necessarily be changed every 3 or 4 weeks.
N.B. When changing the Special Bol d’air
®
Compound, or to top up, the glassware
assembly must be removed from the unit.
Never fill the flask inside or above the unit.
If the unit is not used for a long time, we recommend draining the terpene compound
from the bubbling flask at the last session of Bol d’air
®
and cleaning the unit and its
glassware thoroughly.
3. Clean the unit
The unit must be cleaned regularly, every 3 or 4 weeks, whenever the Special Bol d’air
®
Compound is changed completely or whenever the course is interrupted.
• Clean the plastic and plexiglass parts of the unit with a special plastic product,
or special glass product without alcohol, or with soapy water.
• Flush the bubbling flask with a little fresh Special Bol d’air
®
Compound.
• Wipe the flask tops with a rag lightly soaked in fresh Special Bol d’air
®
Compound
(avoiding the rubber seals).
• If certain parts of the glassware are very sticky or difficult to clean, soak it in 70°
alcohol (never use household alcohol or fuel alcohol) or very hot water to which a
degreasing agent has been added, then flush liberally with hot water and allow to
dry fully before re-use (allow one night of drying).
• Before using the unit, make sure that there is no condensation still in the
glassware.
p.11
Tightly grip the filter cover.
Pull it sharply.
Remove the worn filter and replace
the metal grill.
Fit a new filter.
Relock the cover by pressing firmly
to ensure that it seals.
• Then top up with fresh Special Bol d’air
®
Compound in the bubbling flask A before
restarting the unit, but do not forget to lubricate the rubber seal.
4. Change the filter
The Bol d’air Jacquier
®
unit is provided with a dust filtration system behind the unit,
requiring replacement of the filter every 3 months.
Each unit is supplied with 1 bag of 3 filters. Therefore 1 filter is supplied with each
flask of Special Bol d’air Jacquier
®
Compound.
To change the filter, merely follow the instructions given in the diagrams below.
N.B. the filter cap may offer slight resistance.

SPECIAL BOL D’AIR
®
- ORESINE
®
COMPOUND
The Special Bol d’air
®
Compound is an organic quality product. It is manufactured
from pine resin, Pinus Pinaster (originating from Portugal), and contains
no delta-3-carene (a component of many oleo-resins which can cause irritations
and allergies). The tapping (collection of the resin) is carried out naturally,
without the addition of sulphuric acid where the tree is cut.
The fragmentations are carried out by distillation.
The unit operates only with this product.
Never use or add other essential oils that are incompatible with the René Jacquier
®
method.
Nutritional product, may be used in aromatherapy.
As a herbal tea: 2 drops added to an infusion of mallow, thyme or rosemary…
In the bath: 10 drops to be mixed with 4 caps of special solution for the bath.
IMPORTANT: The results depend on the quality of the product. Each batch is inspected by
chromatography. The colour of the product may vary from one collection to another, from
colourless to light yellow, and its odour may be of varying intensity, but this by no means affects
its efficiency.
1. Use
To be active this compound must be changed completely every 3 or 4 weeks, even if the
apparatus is not used (in contact with air or light, the product loses its effectiveness).
Systematically check that the Compound level is sufficient before each session.
N.B. When the Special Bol d’air
®
Compound is changed, or for topping up, the glassware
assembly must necessarily be removed from the unit. Never fill the flask inside or above the unit.
If the unit is not used for a long time we recommend draining the terpene compound from bubbling
flask A at the end of the last Bol d’air
®
session and cleaning the unit and its glassware thoroughly.
The approximate consumption for 2 or 3 people is ½ liter for 6 weeks, depending on session time.
2. Storage
The product must be stored away from light and in a temperature controlled room.
Under these conditions it can be stored approximately one year after opening and 3 years
before opening. The Special Bol d’air Jacquier® Compound may only be stored in a tinted
glass flask.
3. What to do with used product?
It must be placed in a glass flask :
• Can be used to make ointments, thermal bath.
• Can be incorporated into massage oils.
• Can flavour contain foods.
• Can be deposited in a waste recycling mechanism.
