INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Oven light
The oven light comes on automatically when the selector is
turned to any of its positions. The oven is fitted with a pilot
lamp which goes out when the set temperature has been
reached. The light up when the oven is switched on. The small
window light acts as a thermostat pilot lamp: it goes out when
the set temperature has been reached.
Minute minder
This is a buzzer timer situated on the control panel and is
suitable for timing up to a max. of 60 minutes.
Turn the knob with the symbol until the pointer is aligned
with the required time. When the set time has elapsed, a
buzzer sounds (it does not turn the oven off).
It is advisable to turn the knob to 60 and then back to the time
required, even if this is less than 60 minutes.
See pages 12 for the cooking times and temperatures required
for different foods.
PLURI - FUNCTIONS OVEN
The oven offers seven different combinations of the electric
heating elements; so the most suitable combination may
therefore be chosen for each dish, with convincing results.
By turning the selector knob marked with the symbol ,
different cooking modes are obtained, as shown in the table
to the side.
After having selected the heat source, place the thermostat
knob marked with the symbol onto the temperature
required.
For traditional cooking (roasts, biscuits, etc.) in conventional
mode use mode (hot above + below).
only put the food to be cooked into the oven when the latter
has reached the selected temperature and preferably use
one shelf only for cooking.
To provide heat only to the bottom or the top part of the dishes,
turn the selector to position (hot below) or position
(hot above) or position (hot below + fan).
With mode (hot above and below + fan), traditional
cooking (hot above and below) is combined with the fan,
Grill operation: a high heat output is used for grilling, so that
the surface of the food is immediately browned; this is
particularly recommended for meats which should remain
tender on the inside. To grill food, turn the selector knob to
one of these positions: (grill), (grill + fan).
When cooking food using the grill, the oven door must
remain shut. Moreover, set the thermostat knob no higher
than 200°C (even in the minigrill mode).
See page 4 of this booklet for the cooking times and
temperatures required for different foods.
The oven is equipped with a cooling system that is operated
automatically by setting the selector knob to one of the seven
functions.
Important: to obtain the perfect cooling of the aesthetic parts,
the device continues to cool for a few minutes even after the
oven is completely switched off.
The above-mentioned device is controlled by a thermostat,
therefore the cooling can take place in one or more cycles.
In any case, we recommend that you leave the oven door
open after use.

Before each operation, disconnect the cooker from the
electricity. To assure the long life of the cooker, it must be
thoroughly cleaned frequently, keeping in mind that:
· the enamelled parts and the self-cleaning panels are
washed with warm water without using any abrasive
powders or corrosive substances which could ruin
them;
· the inside of the oven should be cleaned fairly often
while it is still warm using warm water and detergent,
followed by careful rinsing and drying;
· the flame spreaders should be washed frequently with
hot water and detergent taking care to eliminate any
scale; in cookers equipped with automatic lighting, the
terminal part of the electronic instant lighting devices
should be cleaned frequently and the gas outlet holes
of the flame spreaders should be checked to make
sure they are free of any obstructions;
· the electric plates are cleaned with a damp cloth and
they should be lubricated with a little oil while they still
warm;
· Stainless steel may become marked if it comes into
contact with very hard water or harsh detergents
(containing phosphorous) for long periods of time. After
cleaning, it is advisable to rinse thoroughly and dry. It
is also recommended to dry any water drops;
· in models with glass covers, the covers are cleaned
with hot water and use of rough cloths or abrasives is
to be avoided.
N.B: avoid closing the cover while the gas burners and electric
plates are still warm.
Important: periodically check the wear of the gas hose and
substitute it if there are any defects; we recommended
changing it every year.
Replacing the oven lamp
· Unplug the oven from the mains;
· Remove the glass cover of the lamp-holder;
· Remove the lamp and replace with a lamp resistant to
high temperatures (300°C) with the following
characteristics::
- Voltage 230V
- Wattage 25W
- Type E14
· Replace the glass cover and reconnect the oven to the
mains.
Greasing the taps
The taps may jam in time or they may become difficult to
turn. If so, they must be cleaned internally and the grease
replaced.
N.B: This operation must be carried by a technician
authorised by the manufacturer.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Built in installation
For correct operation of the oven built into a kitchen unit or
other housing section, the latter must be suitable.
The characteristics of the housing section and instructions
for fitting in and assembling are given below (Fig. 7).
Protection against contact with electrical parts, in compliance
with current regulations, must be ensured by correct building-
in of the appliance.
All parts which guarantee protection, even any covering panel
(for example if an appliance is located at the end or beginning
of the modular units), must be fixed in such a way that it
cannot be removed without tools. It should be noted that heat-
resistant glues (90°C) must be used to bond together the
layers of plastic material and veneered wood in housing units
for built-in appliances.
Unsuitable plastic materials or glues that are not heat-
resistant are the cause of warping and ungluing.

Fitting onto base unit
The housing section must have the dimensions shown in
the figures and be fitted with supports allowing efficient
circulation of cooling air (Fig.8).
Suitable air intakes (Fig. 9) should be provided for efficient
ventilation on the bottom front part and the top part of the
appliance: bottom inlet of at least 200 cm
2
, top outlet of at
least 120 cm
2
.
Installation into tall housing unit
The housing section must have the dimensions shown in
the figures and be fitted with supports allowing efficient
circulation of cooling air (Fig.8), It is also essential that the
oven is fitted with a ventilation pipe as shown in fig. 10. If the
housing unit reaches the ceiling, it is indispensable to connect
an adequate channel to the ventilation pipe to convey air
outdoors.
Fixing onto base or tall housing unit
Insert the appliance into the housing section; open the oven
door and fix the oven to the kitchen unit using the four self-
screwing screws provided, placing the relative spacers "A"
placed in the four holes to be found on the outer frame (fig.11)
between the housing unit and the oven.

to the mains supply, a double-pole switch with a contact
separation of at least 3 mm suitable for the load and
complying with current standards and regulations, must be
fitted between the appliance and the mains supply outlet.
The yellow-green earth wire must not be interrupted by the
switch. In any case the supply cable must be in such a
position that no part of it can reach a temperature of 50°C
above room temperature.
Before connecting to the power supply, make sure that:
· the pressure-relief valve and the domestic system can
withstand the load from the appliance (see rating plate)
· the supply system is efficiently earthed according to
standards and laws in force,
· the socket or double-pole switch used in the connection
are easily accessible when the appliance is installed.
