INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR USE OF
PLAY PEN AND CRIB “ARIA”
THE SAFETY OF PRODUCTS AND THE MATERIALS
USED FOR THEIR PRODUCTION IS GUARANTEED AND CERTIFIED IN
TEST LABORATORIES ACCORDING TO EN STANDARDS
PLEASE, READ CAREFULLY THESE INSTRUCTIONS AND KEEP
THEM IN A SAFE PLACE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE! THEY
CONTAIN IMPORTANT INFORMATION, INSTRUCTIONS AND
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE PLAY PEN AND ITS SAFE
USAGE.

This play pen is suitable for use for newborn babies and children weighing up to15 kg. It is
equipped with second layer of the mattress and changing pad. The changing pad is suitable for
babies and very comfortable for parents. The pocket, zip entrance and the mosquito net give
additional comfort for the baby and make easy using the play pen.
This play pen has been designed and manufactured in accordance with the Product Safety
Directive 2001/95/EU of the European Parliament and the Council and to European standard
EN 716 Children's cots and folding cots for domestic use, Safety requirements and test
methods.
ATTENTION! Your child will be protected to maximum extent only if you follow the guide-
lines and recommendations in this instruction manual! Pay special attention to the warnings
and secure all necessary safety precautions in order to prevent the risk of injury or impairment
and guarantee your child’s safety! You are solely responsible for the safety of your child, if you
don't follow exactly the instructions and safety recommendations in this manual! Make sure
that everybody who uses this stroller has read and understood this manual!
Failure to follow the warnings, instructions for assembly, maintenance and use may lead to
serious injury and impairment of the child!
1. Never leave the child unattanded! Whenever there is a child in the play pen, there
must always be presence, control and surveillance by an adult. Falling off the playpen
is the most common injury, but there is also additional danger from suffocation caused
by the bed linen or mattresses covers, entanglement of strings, larger pillows, toys, etc.
2. Do not use the play pen for children weighing more than 15kg! This can cause
overloading, tension and instability, and may make the construction unstable, and bring
the playpen to tip-over and injure your child seriously!
3. Use only for a child who cannot climb out of the playpen or hang on it!
4. The play pen must be used for one child at a time! Do not use it for two or more
kids simultaneously!
5. Use only the mattress provided by the producer! In case you use additional
mattress or other mats, you must follow exactly the markings on the inner side of the
playpen designating the maximum allowed height of the mattress top! If not, this may be
dangerous for your baby! It is very dangerous when the distance from the top of the
mattress to the top rim of the playpen is less than 500 mm in the lowest position of the
cot base and 200 mm in the highest position of the cot base.
6. Do not use water mattress for this play pen!
7. No not use PVC bags or other PVC materials as mattress case!
8. Before using the play pen, make sure that you have followed all the recommenda-
tions and instructions for use and assembly. Periodically check if all the parts are in
good working order! The product should be correctly and fully assembled before use!
9. Assembly and unfolding must be done by adults only!
10. Place the play pen on even and horizontal surfaces only!
11. Before pushing the lever that makes the bottom of the play pen horizontal, make
sure all four legs of the play pen and the side rails are fully erected and locked in the
right position for use!
12. The mattress should fit well in the play pen in order to avoid entrapment of your
child between the mattress and the sides of the playpen
ATTENTION! SAFETY WARNINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
13. Do not attach strings, ropes and ribbons and mount toys on the playpen in order
to avoid strangulation or suffocation! Do no place items with strings around your child's
neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords.
14. When the child is able to sit on its own, creep or push up on hands and/or knees,
do not place big toys or pillows in the play pen, because the child could step on them,
climb up, go out from the playpen and fall from it! Do not use the playpen for children
with height more than 90cm!
15. Do not place objects in the play pen that can cause entrapment of the limbs,
strangulation or choking hazard!
16. Do not place the play pen near open windows or windows with curtains with long
cords to avoid risk from falling and strangulation!
17. Do not use the play pen near stoves, heaters, campfires and other sources of
heat! Be aware of the risk of open fire and other sources of strong heat, such as electric
bar fires, gas fires, grills, camp fires, etc.!
18. Do not place the play pen near lamps or wall outlets which can be reached by the
child!
19. All connecting elements (joints) should be fixed correctly! Periodically check for
loose screws to avoid entrapment of the child’s fingers or other body parts as well as
parts of its clothing – ribbons, strings, cords, etc! In this way you will prevent the risk of
injury or suffocation!
20. When mounted on the playpen, the changing mat must be used only for babies
and very small children. Never leave your child unattended when using the changing
mat!
21. Periodically check the condition of the changing pad! Discontinue the use of the
changing pad if you find any damage of the seams, base cover or base!
22. Do not move the play pen while the child is in it!
23. Discontinue the use of the play pen, if you find any damaged or missing parts! If
you find any malfunction, do not use the product, until the malfunction is repaired! You
should contact an authorized service or the distributor /producer for assistance!
24. Do not use parts and components that are not supplied by the producer, because
they can make the play pen unsafe!
25. Do not apply any changes or modifications to the play pen’s construction! The
safety of this playpen is guaranteed by the producer and certified with laboratory tests.
In case of problems do not attempt to repair it by yourself! Contact the dealer or an
authorized repair service for advice and/or repair instead! The producer does not take
any responsibility for the safety of the child in case the play pen has been repaired with
spare parts not approved by the producer or if the construction has been modified!
26. The play pen is intended for domestic use only. It should not be used as a storage
box!
27. Do not let your child have access to the packaging of the products. The packag-
ing of the product must be kept out of the reach of babies and children at the time of and
after unpacking. In this way you will avoid the risk of strangulation and/or asphyxiation
caused by entanglement of the packaging around the child or external blocking of the
respiratory tract through the child’s nose or mouth!

GUIDELINES FOR ASSEMBLY, FOLDING AND
UNFOLDING OF THE PLAY PEN
The playpen is delivered by the producer partially assembled. You do not need any tools to
complete the assembly. Follow the instructions in the text and the corresponding figures. Fixing
in certain position is in most cases accompanied by the sound of a click.
IMPORTANT! After completing each operation make sure that you have followed the
guidelines and the fixing is stable.
ATTENTION! WARNING: Keep your hands from entrapment while completing each opera-
tion, especially during folding and unfolding the playpen!
ATTENTION! The playpen must be assembled only by an adult! Do not allow the presence
of children at the time of the assembly, folding or unfolding, in order to avoid injuries!
1. Take the playpen out of the bag and release the straps, which hold it folded. Place it
upright with the legs on the floor, grab its long side rails by the center and lift up, while they are
fixed in unfolded position after you hear a click (fig. 3 and 4).

2. In the same way unfold the short side rails of the playpen until you hear a click and they
are fixed open. (fig.5).
ATTENTION! All rails must be fixed and locked. The center part of playpen bottom must be
erected in order to allow the rails to lock.
3. Make sure that all sides of the playpen are completely unfolded and fixed, carefully push
down the center of the playpen bottom until it is full flat and fixed in open position (fig.6).
4. Place the mattress in the playpen as shown in fig.7. Attach the mattress to the playpen
bottom by threading its straps through the bottom openings and fasten the Velcro straps.
5. To install the second level of the playpen, hang
it to the playpen with the help of the plastic hooks
and the Velcro straps, which are attached to the
sides and corners of the playpen (fig.8).
After that, place the tubes in the respective
openings of the second level (fig.9-1) and join them,
as shown in fig.9-2.
Finally place the mattress in the second level
(fig.10).

6. Join the metal tubes by pushing the button in order to fix the frame of the changing pad.
There are attaching mechanisms on the short sides of the changing pad, which you must use
to attach it to the side of the playpen. With the help of the two hooks the changing pad is fixed
to the playpen and is ready to be used. (fig.11).
When the pad is not in use, you may release it from the short side and let it hang on the
hooks outside playpen.
7. To fold the playpen, take out the mattress, remove the second level, push and lift the
center up half-height (fig.12). Release the buttons located in the center of each rail beneath the
fabric. Push the buttons upward as shown with arrows on fig.13 and 14. Join the four angles
and the four legs of the playpen to the center as shown fig.15.
8. Pack the folded playpen in the mattress and zip it as shown in fig.16. Place the packed
playpen in the bag for easier storage and transport (fig.17 and fig.18).

CARE AND MAINTENANCE GUIDELINES
1. This product requires regular maintenance and periodic prophylactic, which you must
provide. Thus you will use it safely and continuously.
2. Do not bring pressure to the folding/unfolding mechanisms in order not to damage or
break them.
3. Periodically check all the locking and fixing mechanisms to make sure that they function
properly and are not damaged or worn out and that it is safe to use them.
4. If you find loose connections, torn, cracked or damaged parts, they must be repaired or
replaced.
5. If you find damage or not working function of the product, cease using the playpen.
6. To clean the seat fabric, dirty plastic or metal parts of the product, use damp soft cotton
cloth or sponge and mild soap. Remember that you must regularly clean all mechanisms if you
want them to function properly and last in good order.
7. Never clean with detergents, which contain abrasive particles, ammonia, bleach, or
spirit.
8. After each cleaning leave the playpen to fully dry and after that use it again or store it.
9. In the event of problems in the use of the product, do not repair yourself, but contact the
supplier or importer for advice or repair in an authorized service.
10. A full check from the technician is recommended if you have stored the playpen for a
long period of time or want to use it for another child.
