(1) Determine the path which the line-

set will follow and strike a chalk line to

mark the surface material. Attach the

base only of all ttings rst (ducting

will be placed last), along the marked

path, using fasteners of sufcient

length (not provided). Predrill where

necessary. Duct must terminate

with a tting to prevent cover

from sliding out of position.

Installation instructions

(2) Once all tting bases are

secured to the siding, measure

and cut ducting to t as needed.

Remember to account for some

seasonal expansion and contrac-

tion. Install and fasten ducting

bases. Attach bases only to

structure through provided punch

outs using fasteners of sufcient

length (not provided).

(4) Run lineset, drainhose,

wiring etc. over the tting

and duct bases and secure

to duct clips using tie wraps

of sufcient size.

(3) Position and twist in

lineset duct clips evenly

spaced throughout installation.

Nylon cable ties (not included)

slip through lineset duct clips

and fasten around lineset.

(5) Snap straight duct top over

mating straight base pieces. Seat

tting tops over mating tting bases

and secure with provided stain-

less screws. Duct must terminate

with a tting to prevent cover from

sliding out of position. If duct is

painted, or run horizontally,

adhere cover to base with

pvc cement.

Flexible tting End tting Wall Sleeve

End tting provides criti-

cal support to the lineset

duct cover. Without this

tting, the duct cover can

slide out of place.

To adjust the opening to

suit lineset size, simply

snip the end tting along

the desired groove, and

break off unwanted

sections.

A coupling can also be

utilized at the duct end

for larger lineset ll.

(1) Using a hole saw, drill a hole at the desired

point of penetration. (2) Secure base over hole.

(3) Insert sleeve into hole. (4) Install lineset.

(5) Seal and attach cover.

INLINE COUPLING

(1) Secure tting and duct

bases to wall. (2) Cut ex duct

to length and place in tting.

(3) Secure ex duct with split

cap and two screws.

(4) Secure duct into coupler

by tting second part of cap.

WALL CONNECTION

(1) Seal and attach wall ange

to wall. (2) Place ex duct into

coupler. (3) Clamp ex duct

with cap and two screws.
