This kit is required if desiring to use the MT-250SG Spool-On-Gun

Torch with the MigMaster 210 welding package.

To install the kit, proceed as follows:

1. Remove and discard a blank plate from the upper right corner

of the MigMaster 210 front panel. Retain the 4 mounting screws.

2. Remove the left and the right side panels from the MigMaster

210 unit and set aside.

3. Mount the module using 4 mounting screws retained from

step #1.

4. Feed the wire harness through the hole on the center chassis

(step #4)

5. Disconnect a 3-pin socket at the Printed Circuit Board (PCB)

and reconnect as follows:

- Connect the male 3-pin socket from the PCB to the fe-

male 3 pin socket from the Spool gun kit harness.

- Connect the female 3-pin socket from the PCB to the male

3 pin socket from the Spool gun kit harness.

6. Disconnect a 4-pin socket at the MigMaster 210 wire harness

and reconnect as follows:

- Connect the male 4-pin socket of the MigMaster 210 har-

ness to the female 4-pin socket from the Spool gun kit

harness.

- Connect the female 4-pin socket of the MigMaster 210

harness to the male 4 pins socket from the Spool gun kit

harness.

7. Tie the Spool gun harness with cable ties provided in the Kit.

Make sure that the harness does not touch any components,

PCB heat sink or the sharp edges.

8. Apply power to the machine and verify proper operation of

both Spool and Regular torch triggers.

9. Reinstall the left and the right side panels.

The Spool Gun option is now ready to operate with MT-250SG

Spool-On-Gun Torch. The torch power cable connects to either

“Low” or “High” Inductance outlet and the control cable to the 8-pin

SPOOL GUN receptacle. When using the MT-250SG torch, place

the “Regular/Spool switching SPOOL position. Refer to the MT-

250SG instruction manual, F-15-380, for operating details.
