SCAN mode), hold SET for 2 seconds to reset the
value of DST(distance), RTM(riding time),
AVS(average speed), RES(relative speed),
MXS(max. speed), and enter SCAN mode.
2.The measurement begins once riding on the

riding, the " " in the display will not flash. Stop
riding and check if the magnet place well, if the
sensor got enough power.

no operation or signal over 8 minutes, and all the
memory will be kept. You can press any button to
turn on the computer to receive the signal again.
HOW TO WEAR THE CHEST BELT
(FOR MODEL JS-204A/JS-212A)
In order to get correct heart rate signal, you need to
properly wear the chest belt (FIG.O). The chest belt
will transfer the data to the bicycle computer .

computer) will start transmitting and receiving
signal once batteries are in place. Both units
should be worn or mounted within an effective
distance of 80 centimeters (31inches). If the
signal have become unsteady,
A. Shorten the distance between the transmitter
and receiver.
B. Re-adjust the position of the transmitter.
C. Check the batteries. Replace them when necessary.
HEART RATE MEASUREMENT (FOR
MODEL JS-204A/JS-212A)

right corner of the LCD.
The computer is well
receiving the pulse
signal and will show your
heart rate value in a
short time, see FIG.Q.
Note:

If you wear the
heart pacemaker or any other medical
equipment, please do not measure
heart rate.
Please do not measure heart rate near

ensure a solid contact.
2.Strap the belt across the chest. Adjust the strap until
the conductive pads sits snugly below the pectoral
muscles for an accurate heart rate signal.
Hints: The position of the transmitter affects
its performance. Move the
transmitter along the strap for the
best transmission. Avoid areas with
dense chest hair.
In dry, cold climates, it takes the
transmitter a while to function
steadily. This is normal as the
conductive pads need a film of sweat
to improve contact with the skin.

electromagnetic signal, because the
electromagnetic signal will cause the
inaccurate heart rate measured.

necessary to replace battery when the received
distance is shorter than 60mm.
3.The maximum space between bicycle computer
and sensor should be 90cm, and the angle is
not over 30°. The distance between magnet
and sensor should be no more than 5 mm.
4.Avoid draining battery when you do not use the
computer, it is recommended to keep the
magnet away from the sensor over 5mm.
5.Please do not use the product near the area
where microwave oven, TV, computer, mobile
etc. generate the electromagnetic signal,
because the electromagnetic signal will cause
the inaccurate readout.
