PRACTICAL EXAMPLES: ======
1) Display the rotational speed ( revolution per minute ) of a shaft counting pulses from a
proximity switch and using a 24 cog gear-wheel: - set the division factor = 24 - set the multiplier
factor = 60 (1 minute = 60 secs), in order to display the value with a minute time-base
2) Display the linear speed of a conveyor-belt in meters per hour, using a 500 pulses/rev
encoder, with 1 encoder revolution = 33.3 cm.: - set the division factor = 500 - set the multiplier
factor = 1200 ( 1 hour = 3600 secs; 33,3 cm = 1/3 m -> 3600/3 = 1200 ).
