BEFORE THE FIRST USE

• Taketheapplianceandaccessoriesoutthebox.Removethe

stickers,protectivefoilorplasticfromthedevice.

• Putthepowercableintothesocket.(Note:Makesurethe

voltagewhichisindicatedonthedevicematchesthelocalvoltage

beforeconnectingthedevice.Voltage220-240V50Hz)

• Placethedeviceonaflatstablesurfaceandensureaminimumof

10cm.freespacearoundthedevice.Thisdeviceisnotsuitablefor

installationinacabinetorforoutsideuse.

• Foraperfecttaste,carryout2or3boilprocesseswithfreshwater

(withoutcoffee).Onceallthewaterhaspassedthrough,switchthe

applianceoffandletitcooldownduring5minutes.Thenrepeatthe

processwithfreshwater.

USE

• Pourthedesiredvolumeofwaterintothewaterreservoir.Thenumber

ofcupscanbereadonthewaterlevelindicator.

• Addthedesiredquantityofgroundcoffee.Replacethefilterholder.To

switchon,presstheon/offbutton,thecoffeemakerwillstartworking

andtheredpilotlightwilllighton.

• Makesuretheglasscanisplacedcorrectlyonthehotplate.

• Whenyouremovethecanfromtheappliance,anon-dripvalvewill

automaticallyoperatetostopanydropsofcoffeedrippingontothe

hotplate.Replacementofthecanautomaticallyopensthenon-drip

valveandallowsanyremainingcoffeetofilterthroughintothecan.

• Waituntilthebrewingprocessisfinishedandthefilterisempty.To

switchoffthecoffeemachine,presstheon/offbutton..Theredpilot

lightwillgoofftoindicatethatthecoffeemakerhasbeenswitchedoff.

• Thecancanremainonthehotplate,whichbeginstoheatupassoon

asthecoffeemakerisswitchedon.Thehotplatewillkeepthecoffee

hotuntilthecoffeemakerisswitchedoff(redpilotlightgoesoff).

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Wipetheoutsidewithonlyaslightlymoistenedclothensuringthatno

moisture,oilorgreaseentersthecoolingslots.

• Removethefilterholderregularlyandrinseitwithwarmwater.

• Decalcifyingthecoffeemakerprolongsitslifespan.Fordecalcification

onlyuseproductsespeciallymadefordecalcificationofcoffeemakers.

• Neveruseadishwashertocleanthecan.
