PRECAUTIONS
INSTRUCTIONS - All the safety and operating instructions should be read before
the radio is operated. The manual should be retained for future reference.
HEED WARNINGS - All warnings on the appliance and in the operating instruc-
tions should be adhered to.
WATER AND MOISTURE - The appliance should not be used near liquids or in
rooms with a high level of humidity.
VENTILATION - The appliance should be situated so that its location or position
does not interfere with its proper ventilation.
HEAT - The appliance should be situated away from heat sources such as radia-
tors, stoves or other appliances that produce heat.
POWER SOURCE - The radio should be connected to power supply only of the
type described in the operating instructions or as marked on the appliance.
POWER CORD PROTECTION - Power supply cord should be routed so that it is
not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon/against them.
OBJECT AND LIQUID ENTRY - Care should be taken so that objects do not fall
and liquids are not spilled into the enclosure through openings.
SERVICING - The user should not attempt to service the appliance beyond that
descrive in the user operating instructions. All the servicing should be referred to
qualified service personnel.
Note: If the display does not function properly or no reaction to operation of any
control may due to the electrostatic discharge. Switch off and disconnect the AC cord
then turn the power back on after a few seconds.

TO USE THE RADIO
1. Press the [POWER] button (1) to power ON;
2. Select the desired audio source by pressing the [MODE] button (4);
3. (Please see detailed instructions for each Source in the following chapters);
4. Adjust the volume with the [VOLUME KNOB] (1) to the desired level;
5. To power OFF the radio, press and hold the [POWER] button (1).
CLOCK SETTING
1. Press and hold [CLOCK] button (6) to access to the menu;
2. Use the [VOLUME KNOB] (1) to adjust the hour;
3. Confirm with the [CLOCK] button (6);
4. Use the [VOLUME KNOB] (1) to adjust the minutes;
5. Confirm with the [CLOCK] button (6).
NAVIGATE INTO THE MENU
1. Press the [MENU] button (1) to access to the options;
2. Use the [VOL KNOB] (1) to select setting preferences;
3. Confirm with the [ENTER] button (1);
4. Repeat step 2 and 3 to set other preferences.
EQ OPERATIONS
In any mode, you may press repeatedly the [EQ] button (11), to select between
FLAT / POP / CLASSIC / ROCK / JAZZ.
DAB RADIO OPERATION
1. Select “DAB” mode by pressing repeatedly the [MODE] button (4);
2. Use the [TUNE -/+] buttons (2/3) to select the desired radio station.
Note: In case there is No DAB Service, press and hold the [AMS] button (5) to start
scan.
INFO
When the radio station is playing, press the [INFO] button (5) repeatedly to cycle
through the information broadcasted by the radio.
AM/FM RADIO OPERATION
1. Select “RADIO” mode by pressing repeatedly the [MODE] button (4);
2. Select desired band by using the [BAND] button (5);
3. Use the [TUNE -/+] buttons (2/3) to select the desired radio station or press and
hold (2 seconds) to scan the next/previous available station.
STORE RADIO STATIONS AUTOMATICALLY:
Press & Hold the [AMS] button (5) (for 3 seconds) and the radio will automatically
scan the radio. During the scanning process, the radio will save the scanned stations
sequentially into the memory.

PRESET
There are 6 x 3 (FM1, FM2, FM3) presets available for FM and 6 x 2 (AM1, AM2)
presets for AM.
1. Set the desired radio station frequency as explained previously;
2. Press and hold the [PRESET] button (12 to 17 of the remote).
To Recall a preset station press the [PRESET] button (12 to 17).
BLUETOOTH OPERATION
1. Select “BT” mode by by pressing repeatedly the [MODE] knob (4);
2. Connect your Bluetooth portable device to the ID Bluetooth tagged as “RU-
695D+BT”;
3. You can now transfer the music to the RU-695D+BT.
Note: Music control (play, pause, etc) must be done from your external device.
ANSWER A PHONE CALL:
To Answer a phone call when your device is connected to the Speaker, press the
[ANSWER] button (5). To hang up the phone call press the [HANG UP] button (4).
USB OPERATION
1. Plug an USB stick into the [USB PORT] (8);
2. Playback will start automatically from the first track.
Notes:
Some mp3 player may not be able to play via the usb socket. this is not a maul-
function of the system.
To avoid damage to USB memory, remove it only when the radio is turned off.
The USB port is not designed for charging smartphones or other devices.
TF OPERATION
1. Plug a micro SD (TF) card into the [TF PORT] (9);
2. Playback will start automatically from the first track.
REPEAT - RANDOM MODE
During playback, press repeatedly the [REPEAT] button (14) to select:
REP-ONE: The current track is played repeatedly.
REP-DIR: The current folder is played repeatedly.
REP-ALL: All tracks are played repeatedly.
Or press repeatedly the [RANDOM] button (15) to enable/disable random playback.
AUX-IN OPERATION
1. Select “AUX” mode by pressing repeatedly the [MODE] button (4);
2. Use one male to male 3.5mm jack cable (not included) to connect any external
audio device to the [AUX-IN SOCKET] (7).
Note: Music control (play, pause, etc) must be done from your external device.

WARNINGS
The exclamation point within the triangle is a warning sign alerting the user of important instruc-
tions accompanying the product.
The lightening flash with arrowhead symbol within the triangle is a warning sign alerting the user of
“dangerous voltage” inside the unit.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove the cover. No user serviceable parts inside the
unit. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
This unit operates on 230V ~ 50Hz. If the unit is not used for a long period of time, remove the
plug from the AC mains.
Ensure all connections are properly made before operating the unit.
This unit must not be exposed to moisture or rain.
This unit should be positioned so that it is properly ventilated. Avoid placing it, for example, close
to curtains, on the carpet or in a built-in installation such as a bookcase.
Do not expose this unit to direct sunlight or heat radiating sources.
