Christie 123-003104-03 Operating instructions

  • Hello! I've reviewed the MicroTiles Screen Tape Instruction Sheet and understand it describes how to apply tape to the exposed corners of MicroTiles display units to prevent light infiltration. This document provides step-by-step instructions for cutting, aligning, and applying the tape to enhance the display's visual performance. I am ready to assist you with any questions you have about this process or the product itself.
  • Why is tape needed on the MicroTiles screen corners?
How long should the tape be?
How should the tape be applied?

MicroTiles™ Screen Tape
Instruction Sheet
INTRODUCTION
Upon completion of a MicroTiles Array, the top corners of some of the display units may be exposed
(Figure 1).
There is a possibility of light infiltration through the exposed corners of the screen which may cause
bright spots on the active area of the screen. To correct this potential problem, a 10cm piece of tape is
added to those exposed top corners of the screen to increase the opacity and significantly reduce and
possibly eliminate any light from entering the display unit from that point.
