To get the most from your product and to avoid damaging it please
read the instruction manual. Here are some key points.
You may notice droplets of water in the tank when you open the box. This is
normal, every iron is leak tested before packing.
Do not use descaler or scented water in any iron – it damages the steam
generating material and may cause a brown discharge from the soleplate.
You may use the iron with tap-water, but if you live in a hard water area, you should use
distilled water (not chemically descaled or softened water). If you buy distilled water, check
that it’s suitable for use in irons.
