Before the installation, carefully read the supplied installation guide to avoid possible injuries and damages
resulting from incorrect installation. Always keep the installation guide in an accessible location at all times
for reference during installation.
Installers must always wear appropriate safety gear during installation. This may include but is not limited to
gloves, steel toed shoes, and safety glasses.
Drilling is required to complete this install. Before drilling, ensure that you will not hit any critical parts of
the vehicle like the gas tank, wiring harness, or hose. Consult OEM vehicle or documentation as necessary.
When drilling, use a drill collar to reduce risk of damage to the vehicle.
This installation guide provides general installation instructions and best practices. However, various vehicles
and product install locations may require additional steps. It is the installers responsibility to ensure the install

NOTE: The following step only applies for Savana's with sliding door.
1.2.1 Make square cut on passenger side panel (30-878).
Make a 4.5" by
4.5" square cut out
in the designated
location using a
jigsaw.

1.3.1 Remove all the PVC from all the parts, then attach the door panel to the side panels.
1.3.2 Attach the ceiling brackets.

PHASE 2 – INSTALLATION
2.1 TIPS ON HOW TO ATTACH A PLUSNUT
FORWARD REVERSE
TIPS: Put the plusnut on the plusnut gun, then attach the plusnut in the hole by turning the gun forward until the
plusnut locks, then remove the gun by turning in reverse.
2.1.1 Attach the plusnut using the plusnut gun.
2.1.2 Attach the plusnut using the 6490 plusnut tool.

TIPS STEP 1:
Assemble the 6490 plusnut tool with the hardware needed,
plusnut and the 9/16" wrench as shown.
FORWARD REVERSE
TIPS STEP 2:
Attach the plusnut in the hole by turning
the bolt forward using an impact with a
7/16" socket until the plusnut locks, then
remove the bolt by turning the impact in
reverse.
NOTE: The hardware used for the 6490 plusnut tool is not included in the fastener bag.
The 6490 plusnut tool can be ordered separately upon demand at no charge.

Attach plusnuts in the 6 holes.
Drill the 6 marks.
NOTE: If the van has a rubber or wood oor use a 1" hole saw to
drill the oor and use a 3/8" drill bit or step drill to make a
hole in the van (make sure the holes are aligned with the
holes of the partition.)

Put the partition in place, aligning the set of holes of the wings to the van.
Mark 6 holes on the oor using a marker.

2.2.2 Side pillars preparation.
Mark the 2 holes on both side pillars.
Drill the 4 marks.
