GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: -[his appliance must be
grounded. In the event of malfunction or
breakdown, grounding will reduce the
risk of electric- shock by providing a path
of least resistance for electric current.
Your dryer has a power supply cord
with a 3-prong grounding plug. Never
remove the power supply cord ground
prong.
To help prevent electrical shock hazard,
the power supply cord must be plugged
into a mating 3-prong grounded wall
receptacle (grounded in accordance with
the National Flectrical Code, ANSI/NFPA
70-Latest Edition and local codes and
ordinances). If a mating wall receptacle
is not available, it is your responsibility
to have a properly grounded, 3-prong
wall receptacle installed by a_qualified
electrician.
If ('odes permit and a separate grounding
wire is used, it is recommended that a
qualified electrician determine that the
grounding path is adequate.
