USE OF THE “CHILD SAFETY” FUNCTION
Your cooking hob has a child
safety function which locks
controls which are not in use
(for cleaning, for example) or
during cooking (to keep your settings).
For safety reasons, only the “stop” button is
always active and allows the heating zone to
be switched off even if locked.
•How to lock
Keep the lock button held down until the LED
above it lights and a sound signal confirms
your operation.
•The hob is locked while in use
The LED above the lock button is lit.
- The symbol lights up when you press
the ring’s power or timer buttons when in use
- The symbol lights up when you press
the ring’s “on/off” buttons when not in use
This display disappears after a few seconds,
•The hob is locked when switched off
The LED above the lock button is unlit. Press
this button lightly to switch on the LED
The symbol and the LED are displayed
when you press an on/off button in any zone.
•How to unlock
Press the lock button until the LED goes out
and a double sound signal confirms your
operation.
Tip
Remember to unlock your hob
before reusing it (see section “use of child
safety function”).

This function lets you change the pre-de-
fined power levels (except for the booster).
- Your cooking hob must be turned off.
- Select the control by holding it down.
A beep sounds. The display flashes.
- Set the power level required by pressing the +
or - buttons.
- Press the button again to validate.
Note: the manufacturer’s default power level is 8.
This function lets you change the power
at any time during a set period of time.
- Select the cooking zone concerned.
- Press the button and set the new power
using the + or - (power) buttons and set the du-
ration using the + or - (timer) buttons.
- Validate by pressing the button.
The new power is displayed along with a dot.
When the time has expired, the hob returns to
the initial setting and the dot disappears.
This function can be used to reach the
maximum temperature quickly.
- Press the button, “bo” is displayed and
the hob goes straight to max. power. You can
then set the power level required using the +
or - buttons.
To cancel, press any power control on the hob
or the start/stop button.
This allows you to adjust the finishing time
and the duration of this cooking session.
1. Switch on the hob of your choice, using the
button .
2. Press the button and it will display the
current time.If the time is correct, go to point
4, and if not, adjust the time.

“+”powerbuttons in zone (B) to change the
hour and use the “-”and “+”timer buttons (C) to
adjust the minutes.

4. Validate the time by pressing the button
(the digits will then flash).
5. Adjust the time to when you wish cooking
to finish with the “ -”and“+”buttons from zones
(B) and (C).
6. Validate by pressing the button.
7. Adjust the cooking time
using the “-”and “+”buttons in zone (C).
8. Validate by pressing the button.
9. Define the chosen
power level for cooking with the“-”and“+”but-
tons from zone (B).
10. Validate the power by pressing the
button.
11. Once programmed, it displays (Auto) and
then the digits go offand only a red dot
remains lit.

: Offset programming cannot be
used at the same time on more than one hob.
