Lindab Fire Damper Installation Training

The two-day Lindab fire damper installation course provides theoretical and practical

training on the installation of WH25, WK25 and FNC1U fire dampers.

The course has been designed to ensure all candidates have sufficient practical training

on installation of Lindab manufactured fire dampers into various substrates. Within the

course 6 different methods of installation will be covered practically.

Course theoretical training will cover Lindab manufactured fire damper installation in

detail in addition to EN1366-2, DW145, BSEN15780, applicable building regulations

and health and safety standards.

Who is the course for?

This course is designed for any person actively involved in the installation or testing of

fire dampers. It is also useful for fire inspectors, authorising engineers, and consultants.

Course contents

Day 1 09:00-13:30: Module 1 - Fire compartmentation

Module 2 - Damper installation

Module 3 - Manufacturer instructions

Day 1 13:30-17:00 & Day 2 09:00-14:00: Module 4 - Practical training

Day 2 14:00-17:00: Module 5 - Installation reporting

Module 6 - Testing and maintenance
