Rowenta Optiliss CF7102 is a hair straightener with ceramic plates that ensure even heat distribution, protecting your hair from excessive heat damage. Heats up in just 60 seconds and maintains a constant temperature throughout use. Variable temperature settings allow you to choose the ideal heat for your hair type. Safety features include an automatic shut-off after 60 minutes of non-use and a heat-resistant pouch for storage.

2. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

• For your safety, this appliance complies with the applicable standards

and regulations (Low Voltage Directive, Electromagnetic Compatibility,

Environmental…).

• The appliance’s accessories become very hot during use. Avoid con-

tact with the skin. Make sure that the supply cord never comes into

contact with the hot parts of the appliance.

• Check that the voltage of your electricity supply matches the voltage

of your appliance.

Any error when connecting the appliance can cause irreparable

harm, not covered by the guarantee.

• As an additional safety measure, we recommend the installation of

a residual current difference device in the electrical circuit supplying

the bathroom,acting at not more than 30 mA.Ask your installer for

advice.

•The installation of the appliance and its use must however comply

with the standards in force in your country.

•Caution : Never use your appliance with wet hands or near

water contained in bath tubs, showers, sinks or other contai-

ners…

• When using the appliance in the bathroom, unplug it after use as the

presence of water nearby may pose a danger even when the appliance

is turned off.

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including chil-

dren) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack

of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervi-

sion or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person re-

sponsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure

that they do not play with the appliance.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufac-

turer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to

avoid a hazard.

• Stop using your appliance and contact an Authorised Service Centre

if:

- your appliance has fallen.

- it does not work correctly.

• The appliance must be unplugged:

- before cleaning and maintenance procedures.

- if it is not working correctly.

- as soon as you have finished using it.

- if you leave the room, even momentarily.

• Do not use if the cord is damaged.

• Do not immerse or put under running water, even for cleaning pur-

poses.

• Do not hold with damp hands.

• Do not hold the appliance by the casing, which is hot, but by the

handle.

• Do not unplug by pulling on the cord, rather pull out by the plug.

• Do not use an electrical extension lead.

• Do not clean with abrasive or corrosive products.

• Do not use at temperatures below 0°C and above 35°C.

GUARANTEE

Your appliance is designed for use in the home only. It should not be

used for professional purposes. The guarantee becomes null and

void in the case of improper usage.

3. GETTING STARTED

Your appliance heats up very quickly (only 60 seconds), and the tempera-

ture remains constant throughout use:

- Plug in the appliance

- Set the on/off switch to “1” (Fig.1-C)

- Wait 60 sec.; the appliance is ready for use (Fig. 2)

- Select the ideal temperature for your hair using the Thermostat (Fig.1-D)

- After use, unplug the appliance and let it cool down completely before

storing it away.

4. OPERATION

Use this product on clean, untangled, dry (or slightly damp) hair.

• Do not use the straighteners on synthetic hair (wigs, extensions, etc.).

• Take a small section of hair, a few centimetres in width, comb it and

place it between the plates. Grip the hair firmly between the plates and

slowly slide the appliance from the roots to the tips of the hair (Fig. 3)

• If your hair is very thick or frizzy, you can improve the result by

spraying your hair with water before straightening.

• The ceramic plates protect your hair from excessive heat, thanks to an

even distribution of the heat.

• Wait until your straightened hair has cooled down before styling (fig. 4).

PROFESSIONAL TIPS

• Always start with the layers of hair underneath: first those at the

nape, working around to the sides then the front.

• To avoid kinks in long sections of hair, use a fluid, continuous move-

ment.

• To enhance the effect, you can apply styling mousse before straigh-

tening.

5. CLEANING

CAUTION! Always unplug your straighteners and let them cool down

before cleaning them.

• Never submerge the straighteners in water.

• To clean the straighteners, unplug them, let them cool down then wipe

with a damp cloth and dry with a dry cloth (fig. 5).

6. ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION FIRST !

Your appliance contains valuable materials which can be reco-

vered or recycled.

Leave it at a local civic waste collection point.

3. 제제품품작작동동방방법법

본제품은60초안에빨리 뜨거워집니다. 한번 제품의 온도가 올라간

후에는사용하는 동안 온도가 유지됩니다.

- 제품의 전원 플러그를 꼽으십시오.

- 전원 스위치를 1의 위치에놓으십시오. (그림1-C)

- 1분 정도 지나면 제품 사용 준비가 완료되었습니다. (그림2)

- 제품을 사용한후에는 반드시전원 플러그를 뽑고 제품이 완전히 식은

후 보관하십시오.

4. 제제품품사사용용방방법법

제품의 안전한사용을 위해 깨끗하고 건조된 상태(또는 약간 젖은

상태)의 모발로 엉키지 않은 상태이어야 합니다.

▪제품을 인조 모발에 사용하지마십시오.

▪모발 2~3cm 가량 잡은 후 고르게 빗어 열판 사이에 넣어 주십시오.

열판 사이에 있는 모발을단단히 잡은 후 천천히 모발의 뿌리

부분부터 끝까지 당겨 주십시오. (그림3)

▪모발이굵거나 곱슬머리인 경우 더욱 효과적인 연출을위해 제품

사용 전 스프레이를 뿌려 사용하실수있습니다.

▪세라믹 코팅 열판은 열의 분배를 균일하게하여 과다한 열로부터

모발을보호합니다.

▪모발이식을때까지 기다렸다가 원하시는 머리 스타일로 스타일링

하십시오. (그림4)

▪항상 머리 위쪽부터 정리한 후 머리 뒤통수에서 양쪽으로 제품을

사용하십시오.

▪모발의 끝이뻗치는 것을방지하려면 모발이집게 아래에서 컬의

방향으로 끝까지 스트레이트기를 작동하십시오.

▪더욱 효과적인 연출을위해 제품 사용 전 무스와 같은

헤어스타일링 제품을 함께 사용하실수있습니다.

5. 세세척척방방법법

세척 전반드시 제품의 플러그를 뽑은 후 안정적이고 평평한 장소에서

제품이 식기를 기다리십시오.

▪제품을 절대 물에담그지 마십시오.

▪부드럽고 축축한 천으로 손잡이를 닦은 후 마른 수건으로 닦아

주십시오. (그림5)
