1 Getting Started
Combining point-and-shoot convenience with a host of manual
photographic controls, the Polaroid PDC 6350 is designed to inspire
and expand photographers creativity and passion for excellence. Its
powerful 6.1 mega pixel CCD sensor makes every image extraordinary.
Its advanced features allow users handle even the most challenging
tasks with condence and ease.
Conveniently manual control on the shutter speed and aperture value
to achieve a particular effect
Adjustment of resolution and quality for printing or emailing, ISO
sensitivity, white balance, exposure compensation to suit light
condition
Built-in ash with seven modes (auto, on, off, red-eye reduction,
forced red-eye reduction, slow sync, slow red-eye reduction)
Rechargeable battery and memory card compatibility
The supplied USB cable, video cable and CD-ROM bundled with
image-making software further extends your video- and photo-
making capabilities.

• Inserting the Battery into the Camera
1. Open the camera battery door by pushing it outwards as
illustrated.
2. Insert the battery as shown, ensuring you follow the +/- signs that
are shown on outside of the battery.
3. Close the battery door by pressing it downwards then slide it back
to lock.

You can also use the supplied AC adaptor to supply power for the
camera.

• Connecting the AC Adaptor (Included)
Turn off the camera before connecting or
disconnecting the Adaptor. Connect the
adaptor as shown to power the camera and
charge the battery from a household power
outlet. The camera automatically switches
over to AC adaptor powered operation when
AC adaptor is connected. The AC adapter can
be used with or without the battery in place.
IMPORTANT!
Only use the inclued AC adaptor.
We recommend the user to use AC adaptor to power the camera whenever
connected to a computer.
AC adaptor supplied with Polaroid PDC 6350 camera may vary for
different countries and regions.
• Charging the Battery
One piece Lithium Ion rechargeable battery is supplied with the product.
Please fully charge the battery for up to 8 hours before you use the
battery for the rst time after your purchase, and about 4 hours for
subsequent recharging.

1. Insert the battery into the camera
battery compartment, ensuring you
follow the +/- signs that are shown on
outside of the battery.
2. Plug the end of the AC adaptor into the
DC in jack on the camera and connect
the adaptor to a household power
outlet.
3. The Battery charge LED will light up
in green, indicating battery charging in
progress. The LED will turn off when
the battery is fully charged.

NOTE
The AC adaptor will stop recharge operation once the battery is fully charged.
But it is recommended to disconnect the AC adaptor from the camera when
the Battery Charge LED turns off.
Only use the supplied Lithium Ion rechargeable battery with the camera.
This rechargeable battery should last for the life of the camera, but
as is the case with all rechargeable batteries the actual charge held
may decline with use. Should it ever become necessary to replace the
rechargeable battery, please contact your distributor or visit
http://www.polaroid-digital.com for more information on replacement
or backup batteries.

• Turning the Camera On and Off
Slide the Power Switch in the arrow direction
shown near the Power Switch and hold it for 2
seconds to turn on the camera. You will hear
a beep sound and the Operation LED will light
up in green. The Flash Charge LED will blink in
red, indicating charging the ash. It will stop
blinking upon fully charging the ash. Slide the
Power Switch again and hold it for 2 seconds
to turn off the camera.
NOTE:
All operations, including taking pictures and video clips, and adjusting settings
for shooting and playback, are performed while the camera is powered on.
• Checking the Battery Level
Check the battery power level before taking pictures .
Battery has adequate power.
Battery power is low.
Battery power is exhausted. Recharge battery
will appear on the LCD screen when the battery
is exhausted and then the camera will turn off
automatically. Please recharge the battery.

• How to Navigate Menus
Menus are used to adjust capture and play settings, as well as other
camera settings like the date/time and sounds. Menus are displayed on
the LCD screen by pressing the MENU button.

• Camera Mode
The camera has three working modes. You
can select Auto mode, Video mode or A/S/M
mode by turning the Mode Dial located on the
top of the camera. Under all these modes, you
can access the Setup menu to change the
camera settings to customize your camera.
Auto mode
Under this mode, the camera will automatically judge the environment
conditions for you. It will set the exposure and white balance
automatically according to the shooting environment.
A/S/M mode
Under this mode, you can set the aperture, shutter or manual setting for
priority based on different environment condition before taking pictures.
Further detail refer to “Taking a Picture in A/S/M Mode” on page 40.
Video mode
Using this mode to record video clips.

• Auto Power Save Settings
The camera performs the following power save operations to conserve
battery power. Press the Shutter button halfway to reactivate the
camera.
1 ~ 10 Min The camera is designed to switch off automatically
to save battery life after one/two/three/four/ve/six/
seven/eight/nine/ten minute(s) of inactivity.
Off The power save function is not activated.
You can change the Power save setting according to the following steps:

• Setting the Beep Sound On/Off
You can turn the beep sound on and off under this setting. When the
beep sound is turned on, the camera will beep when you press the
buttons.

• Folder Formatting
Under this setting, a directory of folders storing pictures and video
clips in the camera internal memory or a memory card will be named
differently according to their formatting modes.

Formatting the internal memory deletes all data already stored in it.

NOTE:
Data deleted by a format operation cannot be recovered. Make sure you do
not have any useful data currently stored in the internal memory before you
format it.
Formatting the internal memory destroys all the pictures, even those are
protected.
With a memory card inserted, the above operation would format the
inserted memory card only. The internal memory will not be formatted with
a memory card inserted.
