Whirlpool AKP 806/IX is a multifunctional oven with a variety of cooking modes, including MaxiGrill, Conventional, Lower element, Conventional with fan, Grill and Lower element, Grill, Defrosting, and MaxiGrill with fan. It features an electronic selector and temperature selector for precise cooking, as well as a heating indicator light to indicate when the oven is heating up or has reached the set temperature. The oven also includes an electronic clock with touch-control technology, allowing for easy setting and monitoring of cooking times and end cooking times.

Switch off oven

Conventional

It is used for sponges and cakes where the

heat received must be uniform to achieve a

spongy texture.

/ Conventional with fan

Appropriate for roasts and cakes. The fan

spreads the heat uniformly inside the oven.

Grill

For preparing dishes with superficial

roasting. It allows the outer layer to be

browned without affecting the inside of the

food. Ideal for flat food, such as steaks, ribs,

fish, toast.

MaxiGrill

Allows greater surfaces to be prepared, than

with the grill, together with higher power

reducing the time required for browning of the

food.

MaxiGrill with fan

Allows uniform roasting at the same time as

surface browning. Ideal for grills. Special for

large volume pieces, such as poultry game

etc. It is recommended to put the item on a

rack with a tray beneath to collect the stock

and juices.

Caution

While using the Grill, MaxiGrill or MaxiGrill

with fan, the door must be kept closed.

Lower element

Heats only from beneath. Suitable for heating

dishes and raising pastry and similar.

Grill and Lower element

Special for roasts. It can be used for any

piece, whatever its size.

Defrosting

This cooking mode is suitable for gently

defrosting of food. In special food to be

consumed unwarmed, e.g.: cream, custard,

pastry, tarts, cakes, fruit,...

Note

The pilot light remains on in any cooking

function.

Manual use of the oven

1 Turn the timing switch to the left to the

position .

2 Select a temperature and a cooking

function.

3 Set the controls in position to switch off

the oven.

Using the timer switch

Allows cooking during a pre-established time.

To do this,

1 Select the function and the cooking

temperature.

2 Turn the timer control clockwise as far as

the position “120 minutes” and then turn it

backwards to the required cooking period.

3 When the time has finished, there will be

an acoustic signal and the oven will stop

heating.

4 Set the controls to the position to

switch off the oven.

Use of the Oven

MODEL AKP 805 / AKP 806

Caution

The electronic clock features Touch-Control

technology. To operate, simply touch the glass

control symbols with your fingertip.

The touch control sensitivity continuously

adapts to ambient conditions. Make sure the

glass surface of the control panel is clean and

free of obstacles when plugging in the oven.

If the clock does not respond correctly when you

touch the glass, unplug the oven for a few se-

conds and then plug it in again. Doing this cau-

ses the sensors to adjust automatically so that

they will react once more to fingertip control.

Setting the time on the Electronic Clock

When the oven is connected to the power sup-

ply, the indication 00:00 flash on the display.

Press or to set the time on the clock.

The clock beeps twice to confirm the selected

time.

If you wish to modify the time, press or

until the current time flash on the screen.

Press OK. Then press or to modify the

time. The clock beeps twice to confirm the

modification.

Manual Operation

The oven is ready to be used when the clock

has been set. Select a cooking function and a

temperature.

When you begin cooking, symbol lights up

to indicate that the oven is heating the con-

tents; the symbol goes out when the selected

temperature is reached.

Set the controls to to turn the oven off.

Functions of the Electronic Clock

Alarm: Creates an alarm signal when the pe-

riod of time finishes; the oven does not need

to be in use in order to use this function.

Cooking Time: To cook for a selected length

of time; the oven turns itself off automatically

when the time finishes.

End Cooking Time: To cook until a set time;

the oven turns itself off automatically when

the time finishes.

Cooking time and End Cooking Time: To cook

for a selected length of time and end at a set

time. When this function is set, the oven

comes on automatically at the time required

in order to cook for the set length of time

(Cooking time) and end automatically at the

indicated time (End Cooking Time)

Programming the Alarm

1 Press until symbol lights up. Press

OK.

2 Set the period of time after which you wish

the alarm to sound by pressing o.

3 The clock beeps twice, the current time is

displayed and symbol lights up permanently

to indicate that the alarm has been set.

4 When the set period of time comes to an

end, the alarm sounds and symbol starts to

flash.

5 Press any button to stop the alarm; symbol

goes out.

You can consult the remaining time at any mo-

ment by pressing or until symbol

flashes and then pressing OK. You can also

modify the set time at this point by pressing

or . The clock beeps twice to confirm

the change.

If you wish the remaining time to be displayed

until the end of the set period of time, press

or until symbol flashes and then

press OK and keep it pressed in. Symbol

flashes. Keep OK pressed in again to return to

the real time.

beeps twice to confirm the change.

Important

In the event of a power cut, all the electronic

clock settings are deleted and the indication

00:00 flashes on the display. It is necessary

to set the time and programme the clock

again.

Apagar el horno

Convencional

Se utiliza con bizcochos en los que el calor

debe llegar de forma uniforme para obtener

una textura esponjosa.

/ Convencional con ventilador

Adecuado para asados y bizcochos. El

ventilador reparte el calor de manera

uniforme dentro del horno

Parrilla

Para preparar platos con un asado

superficial. Permite que la capa exterior se

dore sin afectar al interior del alimento. Ideal

para platos planos como filetes, costillas,

pescado o tostadas.

MaxiGrill

Permite cocinar superficies más grandes que

con el grill. La potencia es mayor y reduce el

tiempo necesario para dorar los alimentos.

MaxiGrill con ventilador

Permite asar de manera uniforme y dora la

superficie al mismo tiempo. Ideal para

parrilladas. Especial para piezas de gran

tamaño, como aves, caza etc. Se recomienza

poner la pieza en una rejilla con una bandeja

debajo para recoger el caldo y los jugos.

Cuidado

Al utilizar el Grill, MaxiGrill o MaxiGrill con

ventilador, la puerta deberá permanecer

cerrada.

Resistencia inferior

Sólo calienta desde abajo. Adecuado para

calentar platos, subir repostería y similar.

Grill y Resistencia Inferior

Especial para asados. Puede usarse para

cualquier pieza, con independencia de su

tamaño.

Descongelación

Esta función sirve para descongelar los

alimentos con cuidado. Alimentos especiales

que se deben consumir sin calentados. P. ej.:

crema, crema catalana, repostería, tartas,

bizcochos, fruta...

Advertencias

La luz indicadora permanece encendida con

cualquier función de cocción.

1 Gire el temporizador a la izquierda, hasta la

posición .

2 Seleccione una temperatura y una función de

cocción.

3 Coloque los mandos en la posición para

apagar el horno.

Cómo usar el temporizador

Permite cocinar durante un tiempo previamente

establecido. Para ello:

1 Seleccione la función y la temperatura de

cocción.

2 Gire el temporizador en el sentido de las agujas

del reloj hasta la posición “120 minutos” y

vuelva a girarlo al tiempo de cocción que desee.

3 Una vez transcurrido el tiempo, sonará una señal

acústica y el horno dejará de calentar.

4 Coloque los mandos en la posición para

apagar el horno.

Cómo usar el Horno

MODELO AKP 805 / AKP 806

Cuidado

El reloj electrónico cuenta con la tecnología Touch-

Control. Para activarla, basta tocar los símbolos de

mando de cristal con la punta del dedo.

La sensibilidad táctil se adapta continuamente a las

condiciones ambientales. Asegúrese de que la su-

perficie de cristal del panel de control esté limpia y

sin obstáculos al enchufar el horno.

Si el reloj no responde correctamente cuando toca el

cristal, desenchufe el horno durante unos segundos y

vuelva a enchufarlo. Esto hace que los sensores se

ajusten automáticamente y reaccionarán al tocarlos

de nuevo con la punta del dedo.

Configuración de la hora en el Reloj Elec-

trónico.

Cuando el horno está conectado al suministro eléc-

trico, la indicación 00:00 parpadea en la pantalla.

Pulse o para configurar la hora en el reloj. El

reloj pita dos veces para confirmar la hora selec-

cionada.

Si desea modificar el tiempo, pulse o hasta

que el tiempo actual parpadee en la pantalla. Pulse

OK. Luego, pulse o para modificar el tiempo

Funcionamiento Manual

Una vez configurado el reloj, el horno está listo para

usarlo. Elija una función de cocción y una temper-

atura.

Cuando empiece a cocinar, se encenderá el símbolo

para indicar que el horno está calentando los al-

imentos. El símbolo se apaga al alcanzar la temper-

atura seleccionada.

Coloque los mandos en para apagar el horno.

Funciones del Reloj Electrónico

Alarma: Da una señal de alarma cuando finaliza el

tiempo fijado; no es necesario estar utilizando el

horno para usar esta función.

Duración de la cocción: Para cocinar durante un

plazo de tiempo concreto. El horno se apaga au-

tomáticamente cuando transcurre el tiempo.

Fin del Tiempo de Cocción: Para cocinar durante un

plazo de tiempo concreto. El horno se apaga au-

tomáticamente cuando transcurre el tiempo.

Tiempo de Cocción y Fin del Tiempo de Cocción:

Para cocinar durante un plazo de tiempo concreto y

terminar al mismo tiempo. Cuando se selecciona

esta opción, el horno se enciende de forma au-

tomática a la hora seleccionada para cocinar du-

rante el tiempo programado (Tiempo de Cocción) y

terminar automáticamente a la hora indicada (Fin

del Tiempo de Cocción).

Programación de la Alarma

1 Pulse hasta que se encienda el símbolo .

Pulse OK.

2 Configure el periodo de tiempo tras el cual quiere

que suene la alarma pulsando o.

3 El reloj pita dos veces, se muestra la hora actual

y se enciende el símbolo de forma permanente

para indicar que se ha configurado la alarma.

4 Cuando finaliza el periodo de tiempo, suena la

alarma y el símbolo empieza a parpadear.

5 Pulse cualquier botón para detener la alarma; Se

apaga el símbolo .

Puede consultar el tiempo restante en cualquier mo-

mento, pulsando o hasta que parpadee el

símbolo y pulsando OK. También puede modificar

el tiempo fijado pulsando o . El reloj pita dos

veces para confirmar la modificación.

Si quiere que se muestre el tiempo restante hasta el

final del periodo configurado, pulse o hasta

que parpadee el símbolo y luego pulse OK y man-

téngalo pulsado. El símbolo parpadea. Mantenga

pulsado de nuevo OK para volver a la hora real.

Configuración del Tiempo de Cocción

5 Cuando termine el tiempo de cocción, el horno se

apagará, sonará la alarma y parpadeará el sím-

bolo .

6 Pulse cualquier botón para detener la alarma y

volver a encender el horno.

7 Coloque los mandos en para apagar el horno.

Puede consultar el tiempo restante en cualquier mo-

mento, pulsando o hasta que parpadee el

símbolo y pulsando luego OK. También puede

modificar el tiempo fijado pulsando o . El reloj

pita dos veces para confirmar la modificación.

Si quiere que se muestre el tiempo restante hasta el

final del periodo configurado, pulse o hasta

que parpadee el símbolo y luego pulse

OK y

manténgalo pulsado. El símbolo

parpadea. Man-

tenga pulsado de nuevo OK para volver a la hora

real.

Configuración del Fin del Tiempo de Cocción

5 Cuando se llegue a la hora indicada, el horno se

apagará, sonará la alarma y parpadeará el sím-

bolo .

6 Pulse cualquier botón para detener la alarma y

volver a encender el horno.

7 Coloque los mandos en para apagar el horno.

Puede consultar el tiempo restante en

cualquier momento, pulsando

o hasta

que parpadee el símbolo y pulsando luego

OK. También puede modificar el tiempo fijado

confirmar la modificación.

Esta función se puede usar incluso cuando ya

esté usando el horno. Para ello, siga las in-

está configurado.

nar, el horno se enciende y cocina durante

el tiempo programado.

10 Cuando se llegue a la hora indicada, el

horno se apagará, sonará la alarma y

parpadearán los símbolos y .

11 Pulse cualquier botón para detener la

alarma y volver a encender el horno.

12 Coloque los mandos en para apagar el

horno.

Puede modificar el tiempo de fin de cocción

pulsando

o hasta que se encienda el

símbolo y pulsando luego OK. También

puede modificar el tiempo de fin de cocción

pulsando

o . El reloj pita dos veces para

confirmar la modificación.

Importante

Si se produce un corte eléctrico, todas las

configuraciones electrónicas del reloj serán

borradas y parpadeará la indicación 00:00 en

la pantalla. Es necesario configurar la hora y

volver a programar el reloj.

cinado dependen de cada modelo. En general es recomendable que realice un precalenta-
