3M Pressure Sensitive Cover Tape 2698 is an improved performing cover tape. It features a new blocker film that addresses the application needs of increasingly smaller, lightweight and adhesive residual contaminated die from component stick to cover tape and/or wetting out issues. This helps improve the overall pick and place productivity particularly the handling of small size components.

What is 3M™ Pressure Sensitive Cover Tape 2698?
3M Pressure Sensitive Cover Tape 2698 is an improved performing cover tape.
Featuring a new blocker film that addresses the application needs of increasingly smaller,
lightweight and adhesive residual contaminated die from component stick to cover tape
and/or wetting out issues (e.g. WLCSP & component size in 0603/0402 mm).
Helping improve the overall pick and place productivity particularly the handling of small
size components.
