Your mailbox is protected by the finest exterior powder coat available and
with a minimum amount of maintenance you can keep your mailbox
looking like new.
Like any outdoor product exposed to the elements 24/7, a little surface rust
is going to appear over time especially if you live near the ocean where salt
is present in the air.
Twice a year apply any quality car wax to prevent the elements from
deteriorating the finish. Wax more frequently if within 10 miles of the
ocean.
Remove any surface rust or corrosion with a little solvent on a rag before
waxing.
If necessary, use a common Auto enamel touch paint pen to repair any
scratches or chips that appear from road debris and everyday use.
