Welcome

Thank you for purchasing the new Electric Juicer SY-EX20. Please read this manual carefully before

operating your product and pay close attention to the precautions which are mentioned below. Store

this user manual in a safe place for future reference

Safety advice and cautions

 By ignoring the safety instructions, the manufacturer cannot be responsible for damage.

 Read these instructions carefully before switching on the appliance and keep them for future

reference. Failure to follow and observe these instructions could lead to an accident.

 Clean all the parts of the product that will be in contact with food, as indicated in the cleaning

Section before use.

For your Safety

 Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged.

 Ensure that the voltage indicated on the nameplate matches the mains voltage before plugging in

the appliance.

 The appliance’s plug must fit into the mains socket properly. Do not alter the plug. Do not use

plug adaptors.

 Do not use or store the appliance outdoors.

 Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the floor or if the there are visible signs of damage or if

it has a leak.

 Do not force the electrical connection wire. Never use the electric wire to lift up, carry or unplug

the appliance.

 The appliance must be placed on a stable, flat surface table.

 The user must not leave the appliance unattended while it is connected to the supply.

 This appliance is only to be used for household purposes and only for the purpose it is made for.

 Ensure that the electric cable does not get trapped or tangled.

 Check the state of the electric cable. Damaged or knotted cables increase the risk of electric shock.

 Do not touch the plug with wet hands.

 This appliance shall not be used by children aged less than 8 years. This appliance can be used

by children aged 8 years and above.

 This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory

or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given

supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

 Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

 Do not allow children to use the appliance without supervision.

 If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly

qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

 To protect yourself against an electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug or appliance in the

water or any other liquid.

 Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing accessories or approaching

parts that move in use.

 Always disconnect the device from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling,

disassembling or cleaning.

Use and care

 Fully unroll the appliance’s power cable before each use.

 Do not turn the appliance over while it is in use or connected to the mains.

 Disconnect the appliance from the mains when not in use and before undertaking any cleaning task.

 This appliance is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the

appliance.

 This appliance is intended for adult use. Ensure that this product is not used by the disabled,

children or people unused to its handling.

 This appliance should be stored out of reach of children and/or the disabled.

 Do not store the appliance in a vertical position.

 Store the appliance in a dry place, free from dust and out of direct sunlight.

 Any misuse or failure to follow the instructions for use renders the guarantee and the manufacturer’s

liability null and void.

Instructions for use

Before use:

 Fully unroll the appliance’s power cable before each use.

 Before using the product for the first time, clean the parts that will come into contact with food in the

manner described in the cleaning section.

Use:

 Plug in the appliance switch to the wall outlet making sure the indicated voltage on the device

matches the local voltage before connecting the device.

 Cut the citrus fruit/s to be squeezed in half.

 As soon as the half citrus fruit is pressed onto the juice cone, the motor will be activated.

 Place a suitable glass under the spout of the reservoir. The spout can be pushed down for the juice

to anticipate and be folded up for the anti-drip feature. Do not exert too much pressure on the juice

cone. If the sound of the motor increases significantly or the motor itself slows down dramatically,

this means too much pressure has been exerted.

 DO NOT run the juicer for longer than 15 seconds without interruption. Pls take a break of 10

minutes after extracting 10 pieces of oranges.

 To stop the appliance, simply stop applying pressure to the cone.

Note:

 For citrus such as oranges, you can use the lever or the bigger cone.

 For small citrus such as lemon, you will need to use the smaller cone.

 If you process a large quantity of fruits, you must periodically clean the filter and the tank in order

to remove the remains of the pulp.

 Cleaning

 Unplug the appliance from the mains and let it cool before starting to clean.

 Except for the power unit and the mains connection, all the parts can be cleaned with detergent and

water or in washing up liquid. Rinse thoroughly to remove all traces of detergent.

 Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a few drops of washing-up liquid and then dry.

 Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or base pH such as bleach, or abrasive products, for

cleaning the appliance.

 Do not submerge the appliance in water or any other liquid, or place it under a running tap.

 It is advisable to clean the appliance regularly and remove any food remains.

 The following parts can be cleaned in the dishwasher: Protective cover, big cone, small cone, pulp

filter, rotating filter, reservoir.
