Legrand 4CT-CTR is a 4" Poke-Thru Device Terrazzo Ring compatible with Evolution® Series flush style poke-thru device covers. Designed to be used with 1/4" or 3/8" thick floor coverings applied directly over a subfloor, this device is commonly used during the installation of terrazzo flooring.

The 4CT-CTR ring is installed prior to pouring the terrazzo flooring, with the cover assembly firmly inserted into the ring and core hole to prevent movement. After the terrazzo flooring has cured and been polished, the terrazzo ring cover can be removed, leaving the poke-thru device ready for use.

Determine the number of spacers needed based on the
thickness of the terrazzo being poured. Each spacer is 1/16"
(1.59mm) thick. Three (3) spacers are included.

entretoise est de 1/16 po (1,59 mm). Trois (3) entretoises

Remove terrazzo ring cover assembly components from
sub-pack. Assembly components consist of: 1 each
terrazzo ring cover (A), 2 each terrazzo cover support legs
(B), and 2 each mounting screws (C).

Position support legs into pocket on terrazzo ring cover.

Insert mounting screw through terrazzo ring cover and
thread into support leg. Torque screw 6-8 in-lbs
(0.68-0.9 n-m). Repeat steps 2b & 2c for opposite side.

If necessary legs can be bent in or out as needed.

Firmly insert terrazzo cover assembly into terrazzo ring and core
hole. Assembly mounting legs are designed to grip into core hole
to prevent cover from moving. It might be necessary to spread legs
further apart in order to properly engage mounting legs into core hole.
(Note spacers may need to be placed onto terrazzo ring cover prior to
spreading mounting legs.)

Place the terrazzo ring and spacers over the core drilled hole.

Pour terrazzo flooring, allow to cure with terrazzo ring cover in place.
Once curing and polishing of terrazzo flooring is complete. Terrazzo
ring cover can be removed. Note it may become necessary to drill
a hole in center of Terrazzo ring cover to insert object for prying up
cover assembly.

Determine if any of the spacer rings are needed for
assembly of the poke thru. Remove unwanted spacers.
Additional spacers are included with flush style
poke-thru covers.

Install the poke thru into the terrazzo ring following the
instructions provided with the poke thru.
