IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2. To protect against risk of electric shock do not put the appliance base,
power cord or plug in water or other liquid. Ensure that appliance does not get wet
(water splashes etc.) and do not use it with wet hands.
3. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
appliances by a person responsible for their safety.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
This appliance has moving parts and /or sharp blades that may cause serious
personal injury.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and
before cleaning. You might accidently start the appliance if the unit is still plugged
into the outlet and cause serious personal injury.
6. Avoid contacting moving parts.
7. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the
nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair, electrical or mechanical
adjustment. Contact customer service for examination, repair or adjustment.
8. The use of attachments, including canning jars, cups or covers not recommended
or sold by the manufacturer may cause a risk of injury to persons. Only items
designed for use with this appliance should be used at all times.
9. Do not use outdoors. This unit is designed to be used only indoors.
10. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter. The cord can get tangled or
cause the appliance to fall.
11. Do not let cord contact hot surface, including the stove. The protective insulation
will burn making the appliance inoperable or unsafe to operate.
12. This blender is turned on by pressing the desired speed.
13. Blades are sharp. Handle carefully. Use the blade’s collar to handle. Touching the
blades can cause injuries.
14. Keep hands and utensils out of container while blending to reduce the risk of
severe injury to persons or damage to the blender. A scraper may be used but
must be used only when the blender is not running.
15. To reduce the risk of injury, never place cutter-assembly blades on the motor base
without jar properly attached. Always completely assemble the blade and the jar
in place.
16. Always operate blender with cover properly placed on the jar.
17. When blending hot liquids, remove center piece of two-piece cover.
Blending boiling liquids may cause the lid to unlock itself from the jar and
the hot liquid can cause serious personal injuries.

SAFEGUARDS
1. All the users of this appliance must read and understand this instruction guide
before operating or cleaning this appliance.
2. The cord to the appliance should be plugged into a 120 V AC electrical outlet only.
3. If this appliance begins to malfunction during use, immediately stop the appliance
and unplug the cord. Do not use or attempt to repair the malfunctioning appliance.
4. If this appliance falls or accidentally becomes immersed in water, unplug it
immediately. Do not reach into the water.
5. Do not use this appliance after it has fallen into or becomes immersed in water.
6. To reduce the risk of injury to persons or property, never use this appliance in
an unstable position.
7. Do not use this appliance for other than its intended use. The appliance may be
damaged and cause serious personal injury or cause property damage.
Notes on the Plug
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce
the risk of electric shock, this plug will t in a polarized outlet only one way. If the
plug does not t fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not t, contact a
qualied electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.
Notes on the Cord
The provided short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) should be
used to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer
cord. Do not use an extension cord with this product.
Plasticizer Warning
CAUTION: To prevent Plasticizers from migrating from the nish of the counter top or
table top or other furniture, place NON-PLASTIC coasters or place mats between the
appliance and the nish of the counter top or table top. Failure to do so may cause the
nish to darken; permanent blemishes may occur or stains can appear.
Electric Power
If the electrical circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your appliance may not
operate properly. It should be operated on a separate electrical circuit from other
appliances.

Before Using for the First Time
1. Carefully unpack the Bella 12 speed Blender and remove all packaging materials. Check the contents to
ensure that all parts are present, and have been received in good condition.
2. Only handle blending blade by its collar.
Warning: Do not touch blades. Blade attachments are very sharp. Use extreme care when handling.
Failure to do so can result in personal injury.
3. Wash all lids in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
4. Clean the jar before rst use. Fill the jar one-quarter full with clean, warm water. Following the steps
outlined in the operating instructions, pulse several times using the blending blade. Rinse thoroughly.
5. The motor base may be wiped with a damp cloth.
WARNING: DO NOT IMMERSE THE MOTOR BASE IN WATER.
Operating Instructions
1. Place the motor base on a at, clean, dry countertop or table.
2. Make sure the unit is unplugged.
3. The 12 speed blender comes with one glass jar and one lid. Place the food to be processed into
the glass jar.
4. To assemble the jug, place the sealing gasket on the inner edge of the blade unit. Put the blade attachment
with the sealing gasket into the blade base. Mount the glass jar into the blade base and turn the blade
base on a counter-clockwise direction until it is xed.
IMPORTANT: Check to make sure if the glass jar is properly attached to the blade base.
5. Place the assembled glass jar and blade base onto the motor block until it is securely engaged.
IMPORTANT: Check to make sure the jar is properly xed to the motor block.
6. Insert the measuring cup into the opening of the lid. Twist it clockwise until it is locked.
WARNING: Never operate the Blender when the glass jar is empty.
WARNING: Never over ll the jar. Do not exceed the Max Line.
7. To insert the glass jar make sure the blender is switched Off.
8. Place ingredients in the jar; x the lid to the glass jar by softly pressing down the lid into position.
9. To process, plug the unit into a 120V plug and press any of the speeds on the speed control base.

10. Use low speeds (1-6) to blend soft fruits or vegetables with liquids for soups, chopping or mixing foods
11. Use high speeds (7-12) to process harder fruits and vegetables for blending, liquefying or grinding food.
12. To crush ice, use the Pulse button.
13. To activate the low and high speeds, make sure the button is:
• Raised for high speeds
• Pressed down for low speeds.
14. Pull up the glass jar from the motor base.

User Maintenance Instructions
This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user-serviceable parts. Any servicing requiring
disassembly other than cleaning must be performed by a qualied appliance repair technician.
Care & Cleaning Instructions
CAUTION: Never immerse the motor base, plug or cord in water or any other liquid.
1. Always unplug the Bella 12 speed blender before cleaning.
2. Whenever possible, simple rinse parts immediately after processing to make cleanup easier.
3. Always handle blades using the blade collar.
CAUTION: Use extreme care when handling blades. Do not touch the blades with your ngers.
The blades are very sharp and can cause injury if touched.
4. For quick clean-ups, ll glass jar one-quarter full with clean warm water. Press pulse several times.
Rinse thoroughly.
5. Remove the lid after use to clean. Wash the lid and the glass jar in warm soapy water.
Rinse and dry thoroughly.
CAUTION: Never use rough scouring pars or abrasive cleansers on any plastic or metal parts as the
surface may be damaged.
6. The glass jar and lid are top-rack ONLY dishwasher safe.
IMPORTANT: After dishwashing, always check to make sure the gasket seal on the lid is properly in place
as the heat from some dishwasher may cause to become loose.
7. The motor base may be wiped with a damp cloth or sponge. Dry thoroughly.
WARNING: DO NOT IMMERSE THE MOTOR BASE IN WATER.
Storage Instructions
1. Unplug and clean the unit.
2. Store in original box or in a clean, dry place.
3. Never store 12-speed blender while it is hot or plugged in.
Never wrap cord tightly around appliance. Never place any stress on cord, especially where the cord enters
the unit, as this could cause the cord to fray and break.

Recipes
Pomegranate Granita
Serves 4
2 cups pomegranate juice
2 cups ice
1 tablespoon honey
2 teaspoons freshly grated ginger
2 tablespoons pomegranate
seeds
1. In a blender add the juice, ice honey, and ginger.
2. Pour the mixture into a 9x9 inch pan.
3. Place the pan covered in the freezer and freeze for 3 hours or until the ice has not fully formed.
Scrape the mixture with a fork and place back in the freezer until frozen.
4. Scrape the granita into individual glasses and garnish with the fresh pomegranate seeds.
Banana Morning Smoothie
Makes 2 cups
1 ripe banana, cut up
1 cup yogurt
2 dates
1 tablespoon wheat germ
½ cup ice
In a blender, add all the ingredients and blend until smooth.

Limited TWO-YEAR Warranty
SENSIO Inc. hereby warrants that for a period of TWO YEARS from the date
of purchase, this product will be free from mechanical defects in material and
workmanship, and for 90 days in respect to non-mechanical parts. At its sole
discretion, SENSIO Inc. will either repair or replace the product found to be defective,
or issue a refund on the product during the warranty period.
The warranty is only valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail
purchase and is not transferable. Keep the original sales receipt, as proof of purchase is
required to obtain warranty validation. Retail stores selling this product do not have the
right to alter, modify, or in any way revise the terms and conditions of the warranty.
EXCLUSIONS:
The warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the
following: negligent use of the product, use of improper voltage or current, improper
routine maintenance, use contrary to the operating instructions, disassembly, repair,
or alteration by anyone other than qualied SENSIO Inc. personnel. Also, the warranty
does not cover Acts of God such as re, oods, hurricanes, or tornadoes.
SENSIO Inc. shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused
by the breach of any express or implied warranty. Apart from the extent prohibited
by applicable law, any implied warranty of merchantability or tness for a particular
purpose is limited in time to the duration of the warranty. Some states, provinces or
jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential
damages, or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, and therefore, the
above exclusions or limitations may not apply to you. The warranty covers specic
legal rights which may vary by state, province and/or jurisdiction.
HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE:
You must contact Customer Service at our toll-free number: 1-866-832-4843.
A Customer Service Representative will attempt to resolve warranty issues over the
phone. If the Customer Service Representative is unable to resolve the problem, you will
be provided with a case number and asked to return the product to SENSIO Inc. Attach
a tag to the product that includes: your name, address, daytime contact telephone
number, case number, and description of the problem. Also, include a copy of the
original sales receipt. Carefully package the tagged product with the sales receipt,
and send it (with shipping and insurance prepaid) to SENSIO Inc.’s address. SENSIO
Inc. shall bear no responsibility or liability for the returned product while in transit to
SENSIO Inc.’s Customer Service Center.
