Function explanation
[Initial power-up condition]
Whenpowerissupplied,zeropointofthemixingvalveischeckedfor6seconds.Afterthat,normal
800stepsfunctionisinprogress.Atthistime,ifzeropointisnotconfirmed,Er66occurs.Aftererroris
automaticallyrestoredwhenzeropointwasconrmed,normal800stepfunctionisinprogress.
[DHW mode]
DHWmodeisactivatedbytheowsensorsensingowof0.5GPMorabove.WhenthereisDHW
demand,owsensormonitorthefrequency(range:8Hzto12Hz),within2minutes.DHWtemperaturecanbe
set95~140℉(35℃~60℃).IfthereisDHWdemand,burnerstartsandmixingvalveoperatesautomatically.
Safety device function
[Power supply and frequency stability protection]
Ifthepowersupplyvoltageislessthan90Vinputfor10seconds,errorcodewillbedisplayed,and
alloutputswillbestoppedexceptforthefanpost-purge.Theerrorwillautomaticallresetwhenvoltageis
abore100V.
Thereferencefrequecyvalueisdeterminedbycheckingthepowersupplyfrequency50Hzor60Hz.
Iffrequencyisoutsidetherangeof±3Hzfromthereferencefrequency,errorcodewillbedisplayed,andall
outputswillbestoppedexceptforthefanpost-purge.Theerrorwillautomaticallresetwhenthefrequencyis
whithin±3Hzoffrequencystandards.
[Over-heating protection]
Thewaterheaterhastwoovertemperatureswitch.Overtemperatureswitchisattachedtotheburner
andtheoutletsideagainstthefailureofthetemperaturesensordualprotectiondevice.Overheaterror
occurswhenthetemperatureswitchisopenandcloseuntilthefanisoperated.
[Gas leakage detecting]
Thecontrollerisdesignedwithabuiltingasleakdetectionsensorthatwillshuttheunitdownincase
ofgasleak.Afaultcodewilloccurifthesensordetectsgasleakformorethan10minutesor3timesin1
hour.
[Mixing valve operation]
DuringaDHWdemand,mixingvalvemodultaestocontroltheDHWoutlettemperaturebymixing
thecoldandhotwater.WhenthereisnoDHWdemand,mixingvalvestandsvyat800steps.Toprevent
the mixing valve mechanism from getting stuck, it moves 2,000 steps (fully closed) for 5 sec, then moves to
defaultposition(fullyopened)andnallybackto800step.
