Lowering time setting
• Quick setting: Select: 00:00 - 23: 00 (Sets start time for
7 h lowering)
• Weekly setting: Green bar indicates night lowering
period. Red bar indicates comfort period. Green / Red
bar is selected with the push-button next to the green/red
bar. Time and Day is selected with the push-button next
to the horizontal and vertical arrow respectively.
• Default settings: Saving: Off, Schedule saving: 5 °C

Tamper setting / child tamper setting
• Enable child lock: Press and hold the On/Off push-button
C for 5 s.
• Disable child lock: Press and hold the On/Off push-
button C for 5 s.
Display Digit Color Indication
The desired value (°C in the thermostat mode or % in
regulator mode) is displayed with red digits while setting
and 5 s thereinafter. In normal operation, the actual value is
shown with blue digits in comfort periods and green digits in
lowering periods.
Frost protection
• Frost temperature: Choose between 5-20 °C antifreeze
temperature.
• Frost protection On/Off: When set to On, it will be
activated when the thermostat is turned Off. The display
will show the text 'Frost protection x °C'
• Default setting: Frost protection: Off, 10 °C
General settings
• Time/date setting.
• Automatic day light saving setting.
• Display back-light setting for comfort, saving, and frost
protection period.
• External input can control weekly scheduler saving
setting, frost protection setting, or be inactive. When
activated, the push-buttons are locked.
Changing the thermostat settings
• Press the Menu settings push-putton D
• Press the push-button next to the option that you want to
select in the Menus that appear. In some Menus, upward
and downward arrow push-button E and F are used.
• When option is selected, press the push-button next to
the Save option.
• You can go back to the Menu settings by pressing the
push-button next to the Back option.
• If no push-button is pressed, you will return to the main
Menu after 20 s.
Operating the thermostat
Conguring the thermostat - with ELKO SmartHUB
The thermostat can be congured through the ELKO Smart
app, by connecting it to the ELKO SmartHUB. Follow the
steps given below to connect the thermostat and the ELKO
SmartHUB:
1 Press upward arrow push-button F and the Menu
settings push-button D simultaneously for 5 s.
2 Display will show the text 'joining' and 'pairing'. Test the
connection.This setting also clears all the current settings
and performs a factory reset.

the system user guide.
Upgrading the thermostat software
The themostat has an SD card reader for any rmware
update (version number displayed at power-on.)
1 Disconnect the thermostat from the power supply.
2 Insert the SD card in the micro SD card reader G.
3 Connect the thermostat to the power supply.
4 The update is complete when the ELKO logo and
version become visible.
5 Disconnect the thermostat from the power supply and
remove the SD card.
Turn Zigbee module On/Off
1 Press the downward arrow push-button E and the
Menu settings push-button D simultaneously for 5 s.
Wireless sign ( ) is erased from the display.
2 Repeat the steps above to turn on the Zigbee module,
until the wireless sign ( ) is displayed.

Getting to know the product
SmartThermostat Super (hereinafter referred to as
thermostat) is a thermostat, and heat regulator.
The thermostat enables you to choose:
• settings from built-in room sensors, different oor
sensors, air sensor, and regulator function
• weekly scheduler saving setting
• day or night lowering setting
• frost protection
• color display with possibility of brightness adjustment
• input for external control
Functions
• Calibrates and regulates air and oor heating.
• Can be operated remotely using the ELKO Smart app.
Remote operation is possible through the ELKO
SmartHUB that acts as a Zigbee gateway.
• Can be operated in stand-alone mode with manual
operation.

The thermostat can be:
• Wall mounted
• Flush mounted
Installing the thermostat
You must connect the thermostat to both the phases (L
and N). It operates with two-pole electronically controlled
breaker with relay, for an input power supply of 230 VAC
±10%, 50 Hz.

Setting the thermostat
T
he thermostat has the settings listed below.
Comfort temperature
Desired temperature can be arbitrarily changed using the
upward and downward arrow push-button E and F.
Default comfort temperature setting is 23 °C.
Thermostat/Regulator
Press the Menu settings push-putton D to:
• Choose function: Thermostat/Regulator
• Choose cycle time: 2-5-10-15-20 min
Default function is thermostat On
Sensor options (if set to thermostat)
Press the Menu settings push-putton D to choose:
• Air sensor: Display indicates L (Default On).
• Floor sensor: Display indicates G. Choose between type:
10k (ELKO), 47k (CTM), 15k (Devi), 12k(Micro).
• Safe mode (oor sensor must be connected): Display
indicates Mv. The thermostat regulates the ambient
temperature according to the measured air temperature.
The oor sensor ensures that the oor temperature does
not exceed the maximum oor safe temperature setting.
Safe temperature setting
Choose between 25 to 35 °C.
Cycle time percentage setting
Press the upward or downward arrow push-button E and
F for changing the cycle time percentage for regulator and
thermostat mode.
• Regulator mode cycle time: Percentage setting changes
duty cycle within the cycle time.
• Thermostat mode cycle time: Percentage setting
changes the time between On and Off when the
measured temperature is within ± 0.5 °C in relation to the
set temperature. Choose a long cycle time for concrete
oors (slow-heating oors) and a short cycle time for
light wooden oors (quick-heating oors).
Weekly scheduler saving setting
With the weekly setting, you can choose lowering periods
down to 1 h intervals. 'Night lowering' setting can also
