Safety instructions
Observe the instructions for the safe use in hazardous areas: Operating instruc-
tions (Ex protection related part) for Inductive sensors according to EU directive
94/9/EC annex VIII (ATEX) group II, equipment category 3D.
If no operating instructions (Ex protection related part) or EC declaration of con-
formity is supplied with this product in the language of the EU user country, these
can be requested from your dealer (see delivery note) or manufacturer (see cover
sheet / back).
Function and features
The T4 dual sensor is a slave in the AS-i system (AS-i profile S-0.A.F). It is de-
signed for use on pneumatic valve actuators.
Sensor supply as well as data transfer to the controller via AS-i flat cable
maximum number of modules per master: 31 (62 with AS-i master 2.1)

Installation
Address the T4 dual sensor with an addressing unit, address “0” is set at the facto-
ry. Fasten it to the valve fixings according to the standards (ISO 5211 VDI / VDE).
