Electrical safety

Before use, check that the mains voltage corresponds to the

voltage on the rating plate.

This appliance is double insulated in accordance with

IEC 60335-2-14; therefore no earth wire is required.

• Appliance plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the

plug in any way.

• Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (Class 1)

appliances. Unmodiﬁed plugs and matching outlets will

reduce the risk of electric shock.

• To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not immerse the cord,

Intended use

Your BLACK+DECKER JE800-B5, JBG800-B5 & JBGM800-B5

juicer has been designed for extracting juice from fruit and

vegetables. The blender has been designed for blending and

mixing solid and liquid food. The grinder has been designed to

grind herbs and spices. The mincer has been designed to mince

meat.

This appliance is intended for indoor household use only.

This appliance is not intended to be used in:

• Staff kitchen areas in shops, ofﬁces and other working

environments;

• Farm houses;

• By clients in hotels, motels and other residential type

environments;

• Bed and breakfast type environments;

For indoor and domestic use only.

blender as it can be ejected out of the appliance due to a

After use

• Switch off, remove the plug from the socket and let the

appliance cool down before leaving it unattended and

appliance.

• When not in use, the appliance should be stored in a dry

place. Children should not have access to stored

appliances.

Inspection and repairs

• Before use, check the appliance for damaged or defective

parts. Check for breakage of parts, damage to switches

and any other conditions that may affect its operation.

• Do not use the appliance if any part is damaged or

defective.

• Have any damaged or defective parts repaired or replaced

by an authorised repair agent.

• Before use, check the power supply cord for signs of

damage, ageing and wear.

The appliance shoud be disconnected from the

mains supply before removing the jug.

• Sit the appliance on a stable, level surface.

• Leave a space of at least 50mm all around the

appliance.

Note: The appliance only functions if all parts are properly

assembled and the lid is properly locked in place with the

clamps.

• Before plugging unit into power source, make sure the

switch is off and the securing clamps are safely locked.

• Wash fruits and vegetables well. Cut fruits into small

pieces so they can ﬁt into the feeding funnel.

• The juice extractor cannot process bananas, peaches,

apricots, mangos, Papayas, etc. because no juice can

be squeezed from those fruits.

• The juice extractor cannot process coconut or other

har

d items because they may damage the motor and

ﬁlter.

• Skins must be removed from citrus fruits, remove pits

from cherries, prunes, etc. before feeding them into the

funnel.

• The juice extractor is not suitable for processing

succulent fruits or fruits with low juice viscosity, such as

watermelons, oranges,etc.

• Switch the power ON.

• Insert the prepared fruits into the feeding funnel and

gently push the plunger down.

• When residue or juice cups are full, switch the power

OFF and empty the containers before continuing to

process.

Warning! Grater has sharp blades - always use pusher, be

careful of moving parts. Keep ﬁngers out of feeder and

discharge openings. Unplug unit before cleaning and before

assembling and removing parts.

Warning! Do not run juicer continuously for longer than 60

seconds. Turn off switch and let it rest for at least 15 minutes

to cool down the motor, and to clean.

Helpful hints and tips

• The best results are obtained when using young and

particularly fresh vegetables and fruits. In general, the

softer the vegetable and riper the fruit, the thicker and

less clear the juice will be.

• Wash fruits and vegetables and dry them well, if

possible.

• Cut fruits and carrots into strips.

• Roll leafy vegetables into clumps.

Cleaning and maintenance

Warning! Before cleaning and maintenance, switch the

appliance off and remove the plug from the socket.

Warning! Allow the unit to thoroughly cool down before

attempting to clean it.

• Open the securing clamps, remove the container cover,

upper body and the ﬁlter. Clean these parts under running

water.

• Sieve plate sharp edges may cause injury. Care shall be

taken while washing sieve

• To clean the ﬁlter, a small toothbrush (not included) is

recommended.

Warning! do not immerse motor housing in water or any other

liquid. Motor must always be kept dry.

• Use a damp cloth to clean the motor housing.

• Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to clean the

unit.

• Keep the power cord clean and dry, otherwise it may cause

problems.

• Reassemble all parts in proper order and store the

appliance in a dry place

Dishwasher safe parts

Parts 1,2,4,6,9,10,11,12,16,17,18 & 21 are only dishwasher safe.

Warning! Parts 3,5,7,8,14,15,19,20,22 & 23 are not dishwasher

safe.

Mains plug replacement

If a new mains plug needs to be ﬁtted:

• Safely dispose of the old plug.

• Connect the brown lead to the live terminal in the new plug

Problem Solution

The appliance does not

work.

The appliance is equipped with a safety

system, it does not work if the parts

have not been assembled properly,

check whether the parts have been

assembled in the right way, but switch

off the appliance before you do so.

The motor unit gives off an

unpleasant smell the ﬁrst few

times the appliance is used.

This is not unusual, if the appliance

continues to give off this smell after a

few times, check the quantities you are

Mode d’emploi

Les réglages suivants sont disponibles :

O = Alimentation coupée

1 = Vitesse basse

2 = Vitesse élevée

L’appareil doit être déconnecté du secteur avant

de retirer la cruche.

• Placez l’appareil sur une surface stable et plane.

• Laissez un espace d’au moins 50 mm autour de

l’appareil.

Remarque : L’appareil fonctionne uniquement si les

éléments sont correctement assemblés et si le couvercle est

correctement verrouillé à l’aide des brides.

• Avant de brancher l’appareil à la source d’alimentation,

assurez-vous que l’interrupteur est éteint et que les

brides de ﬁxation sont correctement verrouillées.

• Lavez soigneusement les fruits et les légumes. Coupez

les fruits en morceaux sufﬁsamment petits pour pouvoir

passer dans la goulotte à aliments.

• N’utilisez pas la centrifugeuse pour les bananes, les

pêches, les abricots, les mangues, les papayes, etc.,

car, ces fruits ne produisent pas de jus.

• N’utilisez pas la centrifugeuse pour les noix de coco et

d’autres aliments durs, car ils peuvent endommager le

moteur et le ﬁltre.

• Enlevez la peau des agrumes et les noyaux de cerises,

des prunes, etc. avant de les introduire dans la trémie.

• La centrifugeuse n’est pas appropriée pour les fruits

succulents ou les fruits à faible viscosité de jus, tels que

les pastèques, les oranges, etc.

• Mettez l’appareil en MARCHE.

• Introduisez les fruits préalablement apprêtés dans la

trémie d’alimentation et poussez doucement le poussoir

vers le bas.

• Lorsque les bols de résidus et de jus sont pleins,

éteignez l’appareil et videz les récipients avant de

poursuivre l’opération.

Avertissement ! La râpe dispose de lames tranchantes –

utilisez toujours le poussoir et faites attention aux pièces

mobiles. N’introduisez pas vos doigts dans la goulotte et les

ouvertures d’évacuation. Débranchez l’appareil avant le

nettoyage, le montage ou le retrait de pièces.

Avertissement ! Évitez de faire fonctionner la centrifugeuse

en continu pendant plus de 60 secondes. Éteignez

l’interrupteur et laissez l’appareil au repos pendant au moins

15 minutes pour refroidir le moteur avant le nettoyage.

Conseils et astuces utiles

• Vous obtiendrez de meilleurs résultats en utilisant des

fruits et des légumes jeunes et particulièrement frais. En

général, plus le légume est tendre et le fruit mûr, plus le

jus est épais et moins clair.

• Lavez les fruits et séchez-les soigneusement le cas

échéant.

• Coupez les fruits et les carottes en lamelles.

Nettoyage et entretien

Avertissement ! Avant le nettoyage et l’entretien, éteignez

l’appareil et débranchez la ﬁche du secteur.

Avertissement ! Laissez l’appareil refroidir complètement

avant de commencer le nettoyage.

• Ouvrez les brides de ﬁxation, retirez le couvercle du

récipient, le corps supérieur et le ﬁltre. Nettoyez ces

pièces sous l’eau courante.

• Les bords coupants du tamis peuvent causer des

blessures. Lavez le tamis avec précaution

• Pour le nettoyage du ﬁltre, il est recommandé d’utiliser

une petite brosse à dents (non incluse).

Avertissement ! Ne plongez pas le boîtier du moteur dans

de l’eau ou tout autre liquide. Maintenez toujours le moteur

sec.

• Utilisez un chiffon humide pour nettoyer le boîtier du

moteur.

• N’utilisez pas des nettoyants abrasifs ou des éponges

métalliques pour nettoyer l’appareil.

• Gardez le cordon d’alimentation propre et sec pour éviter

tout problème.

• Remontez toutes les pièces dans le bon ordre et rangez

l’appareil dans un endroit sec.

Les pièces 1,2,4,6,9,10,11,12,16,17,18 & 21 ne vont qu'au

lave-vaisselle.

Attention! Les pièces 3,5,7,8,14,15,19,20,22 & 23 ne vont

pas au lave-vaisselle.

Changement de la ﬁche secteur

En cas de besoin de montage d’une nouvelle ﬁche :

• Mettez dûment l’ancienne ﬁche au rebut.

• Connectez le ﬁl marron à la borne sous tension de la

nouvelle ﬁche.

• Connectez le ﬁl bleu à la borne neutre.

• Si le produit est de classe I (mis à la terre), connectez le

ﬁl vert/jaune à la borne de terre.

Remarque ! Si vous disposez d’un produit à double isolation

de classe II (2 ﬁls uniquement dans le cordon), aucun

raccordement à la borne de terre n’est nécessaire.

Suivez les consignes d’installation fournies avec les ﬁches de

bonne qualité.

Tout fusible de rechange doit avoir les mêmes

caractéristiques nominales que le fusible d’origine fourni avec

le produit.
