Connect signal on SDI input board and display it on the screen

• If the display unit does not show an image on the screen and the button lights up orange, then the display unit is in standby.
Press the button to activate the display unit. If the button lights up green, the display unit is active.
• The “Invalid input” icon should appear on the screen when no valid signals are available.
• Connect the power cable from the mains 100-240 Vac to the power connector
• Switch on the power switch at the back of the display unit
• Connect an SDI or HDSDI signal to the input connector
• Press button to activate window 1
• Assign the input signal to window 1 by pressing the button until the input signal is shown on the screen.
• Similarly as for button , button
acts for window 2.

Register your product
Register your product
• First startup: On-line registration of the display unit is mandatory
• Write down the display PINcode shown on the “Welcome”-screen (current pincode)
• Collect the License PINcode from the envelope. Both PINcodes are necessary to
register the product
• Register at https://my.barco.com/productregistration/
• Copy the license file to the root of an USB stick (only license files with the filename
“barcoLicense” will be recognized by the display unit)
• Feed the USB stick into one of the USB ports
• The display unit is registered
• In case of problems: Check the “first operation” section in the user manual for more
information or contact Barco.
• Unpack the display unit and place it up-right on a flat and stable surface.
• Collect the envelope from the box. This envelope contains the license pincode for
the registration of the display unit.
• Set the Picture (!) to the required luminance. The default value is 100 cd/m2.
• Correct the black level by setting the Background ( ) of the display unit.
• Toggle the button until the required color working space is selected (e.g. SMPTE RP145).
• Set the input signal properties manually in case the display unit cannot identify the type of input signal
• Press to enter the OSD menu.
• Use the trackball to move to the submenu “Input settings”.
• Select the type of input that is connected to the input board (Single or Dual link).
• When the signal description in this submenu is not correct, override the signal detection and set the input signal
properties manually. E.g. for Dual Link: RGB, 4:4:4, 10 bit and Segmented frame.
