Playing User Samples
You can create an audio le (WAV) on your computer, and use the “12” position of the sounds knob to load that audio le into this unit and
play it as a user sample (a sound that you’ve created). Just as with the built-in sounds, you can adjust the user sample’s tuning (pitch) and apply
an eect to it.

* If the user sample is stereo, it is automatically
converted to mono.

Importing an Audio File
1. Prepare the audio les that you want to load into this unit.
2. Set the sounds knob to “12.”
3. While holding down the [INST VARIATION] button, use a micro-USB cable to connect this unit to your computer.
4. Open the removable disk or “SPD_ONE” that appears on your computer screen.
5. Copy the audio le that you want to import to the unit into the removable disk or “SPD_ONE.”
6. When the copy is completed, disconnect the micro-USB cable.
* Be sure to end the connection with your computer before unplugging the micro-USB cable. Unplugging the cable while your computer is
processing data might cause the data to be damaged.
7. When the TRIG indicator blinks, press the [INST VARIATION] button.
The TRIG indicator blinks rapidly, and the audio le import begins.
* If the TRIG indicator does not blink rapidly, check “Audio Files This Unit Can Play,” and try the procedure again from step 3.
When the TRIG indicator stops blinking rapidly, the import is completed.
