angleusingthereferencetabtemplate

includedonthispage.Tabsshouldbe

adjustedbeforeascendingthemast.

For use with whip antennas only.

Antenna diameter must be less

than 1/8" (3 mm).

2Remove whip from antenna

body.

Tightenlocknutorsetscrew.

Slide vinyl keeper downsovaneisheldinplaceyetturnsfreely.

5Final Assembly.

•Disconnectantennacable.

•Removelocknut

•Unthreadcouplerfrombottomof

 antennabody.

•ReplacetheMetzbushingwithone

 oftwoplasticbushingssupplied

 (trythickerbushingfirst).

•Threadcouplerbackontothe

 antennabody.

•PlaceMetzO-ringinposition.

•Placestainlesssteelwasherunder 

 O-ring.

•Slidethereferencetabsupportwire 

 ontothecoupler.

•InsertcouplerintoMetzbracket.

•Threadlocknutontocoupler.Ifnot 

 enoughthreadsareavailableto  

 securelocknut,removecouplerand 

 replacebushingwiththinnerbushing 

 supplied.Repeatassembly.

•Positionreferencetabarmssothey 

 faceaft,alignedwithcenterlineofboat.

•Tightenlocknut.

•Reconnectantennacable.

Locktite®orusesiliconesealonthethreads

toeliminatethepossibilityoftheunit

unscrewinginusefromvibration.

•Priortounsteppingyourmast,takeyour

WindTrakdownfirst.

 Periodicallychecktheassemblyscrewshold-

ingyourWindTraktogether.

•Lubricationisneverneeded,butyearsofsalt

ordirtbuild-upshouldberinsedoffwithfresh

wateroccasionally.
