Cleaning Your Machine
Open the stainless door, and wait
until the piston has risen. Turn o
the TopBrewer using the on/o
button on the front panel of
the machine.
Open fridge & remove milk
bottles. Place milk spear
into an empty glass. Turn
on the TopBrewer.
Remove the stainless steel
casing by turning clockwise and
unhooking from the swan neck
(1). Gently but firmly pull down
on the black casing (2). Twist the
black frothing head clockwise
to remove(3). Clean all three
pieces in warm water to ensure
all milk deposits are removed.
Dry & reattach.
Thoroughly wipe underneath the
piston to clean the metal filter
and wipe all around the O-ring to
remove deposits of coee. Finish
with cleaning the metal filter on
the bottom piston.
Open fridge and remove the glass
which will have some cleaning
water in it. Wipe the inside of the
fridge with a damp cloth and
replace with fresh milk.
Brush around the top of the brew
unit, using the long handled brush
in order to remove any ground
coee deposits.
Prior to use, prime the TopBrewer
by dispensing one warm milk or a
milk based drink.
The stainless steel cylinder top
must be completely clean with no
coee remains. Push the scraper
arm back in place.
Remove lid from bean hopper
and wipe with a damp cloth prior
to filling with beans. Note: Fresh
TopBrewer beans have great
flavor. To ensure its quality, do
not overfill the hopper. Store
unused beans in a sealed bag
somewhere cool.
Place a TopBrewer cleaning tablet
into the center of the scraper.
Close the stainless door.
The machine will notify you in
the status bar of the app when
the dregbin containing the coee
remains is full. When removing
the dregbin, the unit will reset its
counting system and will assume
that you have emptied it. There,
empty the dregbin once removed
from the unit.
The machine is designed for coee beans only. Please read the instructions carefully before attempting to clean the machine. We recommend cleaning your TopBrewer daily by following the steps 6 through 9 if it is
used in high volume settings, but in some cases, the cleaning frequency can be less depending on the milk type, fat content, humidity and temperature. It is recommended to follow the complete cleaning instructions
once a week. A clean machine makes better coee. We only recommend using TopBrewer labeled cleaning solutions that have been proven to properly clean the machine. For further information, please refer to the
user manual. Additional cleaning tablets available: CLNTAB $45 for QTY 25.

Troubleshooting
PISTON ERROR This means the met-
al screen (picture 1) is being opened
numerous times in a short period
of time. Make sure the metal screen
is in the closed position. The error
message on your iPad or iPhone will
give you the option to reset; Please
choose reset. The piston should then
move to its designated position.
DREGBIN FULL To empty the dreg-
bin, simply follow the directions in
the diagrams below. Important: Every
time you open the metal screen
(picture 1), the system automatically
resets the counter for dregs (coffee
pucks). It is very important that you
monitor if you continue to open
the metal screen as the system will
continue to reset the count. Standard
count is 50 coee pucks. Note: If the
metal screen is not closed entirely,
you will have an error message of
“Door open”. Make sure the metal bin
(picture 2) is situated properly.
WASTE BIN FULL / MISSING Also
known as “overflow dregbin” (picture
3). This bin is located at the bottom
of the machine. You will need to
empty this frequently. There is a sen-
sor, so the system will prompt you to
empty. Note: If you do not return the
bin, the machine will show an error
message of “Waste bin missing”.
BEAN HOPPER EMPTY This simply
means the unit needs to be replen-
ished with coee beans. Picture 4
shows where the bean reservoir is
located. The machine can be pulled
forward for easy access to load the
beans. There is a locking arm on the
right side of the machine that will
need to be pulled up in order to pull
the machine forward. The machine
is on a track system. The hopper can
accommodate one bag of TopBrewer
Coee Beans.
To access the brewing chamber, simply lift
the perforated metal screen and slide it
backwards.
To empty the coee dregbin, pull out gently;
empty contents and return bin to home. The
display indicated when full.
To empty overflow dregbin, slowly slide out
the metal drawer at the bottom of the unit
out; empty and replace. The Display will
indicate when full.
Above the keyboard at the top of the unit,
you can lift the metal lid for access to the
bean reservoir.
