This manual is also suitable for
ESAB HC-3B Remote Hand Control, P/N 33838 is a compact multi-process remote control accessory. It allows you to select the process you intend to use:
- CC-STICK/TIG - constant current (CC) characteristic required for stick, scratch start TIG, or air carbon arc gouging applications.
- CV-MIG - constant voltage (CV) characteristic required for all conventional “non-digital” MIG welding.
- DIGITAL-MIG - disables remote voltage control from the pendant. Use with “digital-type” microprocessor wire feeder/control.
It also allows you to turn the power source contactor On or Off in the constant current (CC) mode for the Stick/Tig/Arc Gouging processes. This switch is disabled for all MIG operations when a constant voltage (CV) characteristic is set up.
