INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Install Access Door - Style 1
(external hinge pin)
1. Remove access doors from mounting frame by lifting each
door up and off the mounting frame hinge.
2. Install mounting frame flush to the face of the cabinet cutout.
Make sure the mounting frame is level.
3. Install screws (not supplied) into holes located on the
mounting frame.
4. Replace access doors by placing each door back on the
mounting frame hinges.
Install Access Door - Style 2 (internal hinge)
1. Install mounting frame flush to the face of the cabinet cutout.
2. Open doors.
3. Make sure the mounting frame is level and square to the
cabinet.
4. Install screws (not supplied) into holes located on the
mounting frame.
Access Door Alignment - Style 2 Only
Your access door(s) can be realigned if necessary.
1. Check door to determine alignment requirements.
2. Open the access door.
3. Locate and loosen the 4 door hinge mounting screws ½ turn.
4. Adjust the top or bottom of the door in the direction
necessary to align the door.
5. Tighten the 4 door hinge mounting screws.
6. Close the door and check alignment.
7. Readjust the door using steps 2 through 6 if necessary.
8. Repeat steps 1 through 7 on the other door if necessary.

Access Door Removal
The access door(s) can be removed if necessary to gain access to the inside of the cabinet area.
Style 1 (external hinge pin)
To Remove the Door:
1. Open access door.
2. Lift door to slide door hinge pins from hinge brackets on
cabinet.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the other door if necessary.
To Replace the Door:
1. Position hinge pins on the door with the hinge brackets on
the cabinet. Gently push down to slide the pins into place.
2. Repeat Step 1 for the other door if necessary.
Style 2 (internal hinge)
To Remove the Door:
1. Open the door to the full open position.
2. Locate and remove the 4 door hinge mounting screws.
3. Pull the door away from the center to slide the door hinges
out of the slots in the frame.
4. Repeat steps 1 through 3 for the other door if necessary.

To Replace the Door:
1. Slide the door hinges into the slots in the frame and push in
to seat hinges.
2. Locate the 4 hinge screw mounting holes through the top and
bottom of the frame and replace the 4 screws. Do not tighten.
3. Check and adjust door then tighten the screws. See “Access
Door Alignment - Style 2 Only.”
4. Repeat steps 1 through 3 for the other door if necessary.
18" (45.7 cm) Access Door Reversal -
Style 2 Only
The 18" (45.7 cm) access door can be reversed from a right-side
opening to a left-side opening. This must be done prior to
mounting the door assembly into the cabinet opening.
To remove the access door from the frame:
1. Lay the access door assembly on a covered surface.
2. Open the door to the full open position.
3. Locate and remove the 4 door hinge mounting screws in the
door frame.
4. Pull the door away from the center to slide the door hinges
out of the hinge slots in the frame.
5. Lay the front face of the access door on a covered surface.
6. With a #3 Phillips screwdriver, remove the 4 hinge screws
from the door.
7. With a #2 Phillips screwdriver, remove the screws from
around the perimeter of the inner door.
8. Remove the inner door panel and slide the 2 door hinges out
of the hinge slots in the door.
9. Replace the door hinges by sliding them into the hinge slots
on the opposite side of the door.
10. Rotate the inner door panel 180° and place the inner door
panel so that the hinge slots in the inner door slide over the
hinges.

11. With a #3 Phillips screwdriver, replace the 4 hinge screws in
the door. Do not tighten.
12. With a #2 Phillips screwdriver, replace the screws around the
perimeter of the inner door but do not tighten. After all the
screws have been installed, tighten the screws.
13. Tighten the 4 hinge screws.
To replace the door into the frame:
1. Slide the door hinges into the slots in the frame and push in
to seat hinges.
2. Locate the 4 hinge screw mounting holes through the top and
bottom of the frame and replace the 4 screws. Do not tighten.
3. Check and adjust door then tighten the screws. See “Access
Door Alignment - Style 2 Only.”
4. Install 18" (45.7 cm) access door assembly into cabinet
cutout. See “Install Access Door - Style 2.”
Attach Condiment Shelf - Styles 1 and 2
1. Open access door.
2. Use a short #2 Phillips screwdriver or a 90° screwdriver with a
#2 Phillips screw bit to loosen the 2 mounting screws on the
inner door panel.
3. Position the condiment shelf so that the large ends of the
keyhole slots are over the 2 mounting screws.
4. Lower the condiment shelf until the 2 mounting screws are in
the narrow ends of the keyhole slots.
5. Tighten the screws.

ACCESS DOORS CARE
General Cleaning
IMPORTANT: Always follow label instructions on cleaning
products.
Soap, water and a soft cloth or sponge are suggested first unless
otherwise noted.
STAINLESS STEEL
Cleaning Method:
Rub in direction of grain to avoid damage.
Food spills should be cleaned as soon as possible. Spills may
cause permanent discoloration. Use stainless steel cleaner
and polish to clean spills.

Liquid detergent or all-purpose cleaner:
Rinse with clean water and dry with soft, lint-free cloth.
Vinegar for hard water spots
Use a glass cleaner to remove fingerprints.
To avoid damage to stainless steel surfaces, do not use soap-
filled scouring pads, abrasive cleaners, cleaners containing
chlorine, Cooktop Polishing Creme, steel-wool pads, gritty
washcloths or some paper towels.
EXTERIOR and INTERIOR
The quality of this material resists most stains and pitting,
providing that the surface is kept clean, covered and polished.
Cleaning Method:
Apply stainless steel polish to all areas before first use.
Apply after each cleaning to avoid damage.
Cleaning should always be followed by rinsing with clean,
warm water.
Use a metal polish or stainless steel brightener to remove
fingerprints, water spots, oxidation, and food stains. Always
follow the manufacturer’s directions.
Wipe the surface completely dry with a soft cloth.

OUTDOOR PRODUCT WARRANTY
LIMITED WARRANTY
For one year from the date of purchase, when this outdoor product is operated and maintained according to instructions attached to or
furnished with the product, KitchenAid brand of Whirlpool Corporation or Whirlpool Canada LP (hereafter “KitchenAid”) will pay for
Factory Specified Parts and repair labor to correct defects in materials or workmanship. Service must be provided by a KitchenAid
designated service company. This limited warranty is valid only in the United States or Canada and applies only when the outdoor
product is used in the country in which it was purchased. Outside the 50 United States and Canada, this limited warranty does not
apply. Proof of original purchase date is required to obtain service under this limited warranty.
SECOND THROUGH FIFTH YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY ON PARTS ON GRILLS ONLY
In the second through fifth years from the date of purchase when this grill is operated and maintained according to instructions
attached to or furnished with the product, KitchenAid will pay for Factory Specified Parts to correct defects in materials or
workmanship.
LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY ON STAINLESS STEEL COMPONENTS ON GRILLS ONLY
For the life of the product, when this grill is operated and maintained according to instructions attached to or furnished with the product,
KitchenAid will pay for replacement of the stainless steel body housing due to defective materials or workmanship. For the life of the
product, when this grill is operated and maintained according to instructions attached to or furnished with the product, KitchenAid will
pay for replacement parts for the stainless steel grill burners.
ITEMS EXCLUDED FROM WARRANTY
This limited warranty does not cover:
1. Service calls to correct the installation of your outdoor product, to instruct you on how to use your outdoor product, to replace or
repair house fuses, or to correct house wiring or plumbing.
2. Cosmetic damage, including scratches, dents, chips or other damage to the finish of your outdoor product, unless such damage
results from defects in materials or workmanship and is reported to KitchenAid within 30 days from the date of purchase.
3. Repairs when your outdoor product is used for other than normal, single-family household use or when it is used in a manner that is
contrary to published user or operator instructions and/or installation instructions.
4. Damage resulting from accident, alteration, misuse, abuse, fire, flood, acts of God, improper installation, installation not in
accordance with electrical or plumbing codes, or use of consumables or cleaning products not approved by KitchenAid.
5. Conversion kit or service call for the conversion of your outdoor product from natural gas to L.P./propane or from L.P./propane to
natural gas.
6. Costs associated with the removal from your home of your outdoor product for repairs. This outdoor product is designed to be
repaired in the home and only in-home service is covered by this warranty.
7. Repairs to parts or systems resulting from unauthorized modifications made to the outdoor product.
8. Expenses for travel and transportation for product service if your outdoor product is located in a remote area where service by an
authorized KitchenAid servicer is not available.
9. The removal and reinstallation of your outdoor product if it is installed in an inaccessible location or is not installed in accordance
with published installation instructions.
10. Damage resulting from normal wear and tear of your outdoor product.
11. Outdoor products with original model/serial numbers that have been removed, altered or cannot be easily determined. This
warranty is void if the factory applied serial number has been altered or removed from your outdoor product.
The cost of repair or replacement under these excluded circumstances shall be borne by the customer.
DISCLAIMER OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES; LIMITATION OF REMEDIES
CUSTOMER'S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL BE PRODUCT REPAIR AS PROVIDED
HEREIN. IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE,
ARE LIMITED TO ONE YEAR OR THE SHORTEST PERIOD ALLOWED BY LAW. KITCHENAID SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR
INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. SOME STATES AND PROVINCES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION
OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR LIMITATIONS ON THE DURATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS, SO THESE EXCLUSIONS OR LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY GIVES
