When using electrical appliances basic safety precautions should always

be followed, including the following:

1. Read all instRuctions.

2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles. Always wear oven mitts

or use potholders.

or other liquids.

4. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)

with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience

and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning

use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

5. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.

6. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting

on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.

7. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after

the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner.

Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or

adjustment.

8. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer

12. Never leave the Popcorn Popper unattended when it is plugged into an outlet.

13. After pressing the ON/OFF switch, this Popcorn Popper heats immediately.

To avoid overheating, add raw popcorn before turning ON.

14. To turn the Popcorn Popper OFF, press the ON/OFF switch to OFF.

Then remove plug from wall outlet.

15. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.

16. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil

or other hot liquids.

17. Extreme caution must be used when removing popped popcorn. Always ﬂip

the unit away from you and over a countertop

18. Do not leave this appliance unattended during use.

caution Hot suRFaces: This appliance generates heat and escaping steam

during use. Proper precautions must be taken to prevent the risk of burns, ﬁres

or other injury to persons or damage to property.

caution: This Popcorn Popper is hot during operation and retains heat for some

time after turning OFF. Always use oven mitts when handling hot base and allow

to cool before cleaning. Do not place anything on top of the appliance while

it is operating or while it is hot.

1. All users of this appliance must read and understand this instruction manual before

operating or cleaning this appliance.

2. The cord to this appliance should be plugged into a 120 V AC electrical

outlet only.

3. If this appliance begins to malfunction during use, immediately press the ON/OFF

switch to OFF and unplug the cord. Do not use or attempt to repair

the malfunctioning appliance.

4. caution: Never place the Popcorn Popper’s clear lid, plastic lid cap,

or rotating rod in a microwave oven.

5. Allow unit to cool completely before popping a second batch.

NOTES ON THE CORD

The provided short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) should

be used to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Do

not use an extension cord with this product. Always plug directly into a wall outlet/receptacle.

NOTES ON THE PLUG

This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk

of electric shock, this plug will ﬁt in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not ﬁt fully into

the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not ﬁt, contact a qualiﬁed electrician.

Do not modify the plug in any way.

PLASTICIZER WARNING

caution: To prevent Plasticizers from migrating to the ﬁnish of the counter top or table top

or other furniture, place NON-PLASTIC coasters or place mats between the appliance

and the ﬁnish of the counter top or table top. Failure to do so may cause the ﬁnish to darken;

permanent blemishes may occur or stains can appear.

ELECTRIC POWER

If the electrical circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your appliance may not operate properly. It

should be operated on a separate electrical circuit from other appliances.

GETTING TO KNOW YOUR POPCORN POPPER

Product may vary slightly from illustrations.

BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TImE

1. Carefully unpack the Popcorn Popper and remove all packaging materials.

2. Wash lid cap and clear Popcorn Popper lid in warm, soapy water; rinse

and dry thoroughly.

3. Place the base on a clean, ﬂat, heat-resistant working surface.

caution: During popping, the base gets hot. Make sure the surface is able to withstand

heat or use a trivet to protect the working surface.

4. Remove the rotating rod from the base by turning the center knob counter-clockwise. Remove

the center knob and set aside. (See Figure 2.)

5. Pull the rotating rod up and off the center stem. Clean the rod with a slightly soapy sponge or

cloth. Wipe with a clean, damp cloth and dry thoroughly.

6. Clean the base’s non-stick popping chamber with a soapy sponge or cloth.

Wipe with a clean, damp cloth and dry thoroughly.

7. Fit the rotating rod onto the notched area around the screw. Add the center knob

and turn until secure. Make sure rotating rod turns freely.

8. The Popcorn Popper is now ready for use.

9. Do not force the center knobs into the center stem when re-assembling the unit

as it may damage or break the center stem.

10. note: When your popcorn maker is heated for the ﬁrst time, it may emit slight smoke

or odor. This is normal and should disappear after 1 or 2 uses. This does not affect the

safety of the appliance. However, as it may affect the ﬂavor of the ﬁrst batch of popcorn,

it is recommended that these be discarded.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Enjoy up to 6-quarts, fresh popped popcorn.

1. Spread the corn evenly into the non-stick popping chamber.

2. Replace the clear Popcorn Popper lid. Fit the cover handles onto the base handles.

iMPoRtant: DO NOT ADD THE LID CAP WHEN POPPING CORN.

3. Plug cord into a 120V AC electrical outlet.

4. Press the ON/OFF switch. The rotating rod will begin to spin.

caution: Do not shake the Popcorn Popper during the popping cycle.

caution: Do not remove the Clear Popcorn Popper Lid after the unit is turned ON,

especially after the ﬁrst corn has popped.

5. Depending on the amount of raw popcorn being popped, the popping cycle

should be completed in 5 to 6 minutes.

6. After popping has ceased, press the ON/OFF switch to turn the Popcorn Popper OFF. Unplug the

electrical cord from the wall outlet.

7. Snap the lid cap securely onto the clear Popcorn Popper’s lid.

iMPoRtant: The lid cap must be securely ﬁtted onto the clear Popcorn Popper’s lid

before serving.

iMPoRtant: Make sure the handles of the Popcorn Popper’s lid are ﬁtted into

the handles of the Popcorn Popper’s base.

8. Wearing protective oven mitts, grasp both sets of handles (lid and base) ﬁrmly

and ﬂip the Popcorn Popper upside down. (See Figure 3.)

caution: To avoid personal injury, always ﬂip the Popcorn Popper away from you

to avoid escaping steam. Place the popcorn-ﬁlled lid on a clean, ﬂat surface.

Lift the Popcorn Popper’s base slightly away from you to allow the steam to escape.

caution: Wait at least 10 to 20 seconds to ensure popping has completely stopped

before ﬂipping the Popcorn Popper as remaining heat may still have effect

on the un-popped corns.

caution: Extreme caution must be used when unloading popcorn. Always place

the unit on a countertop to prevent burns from residual oil or water running out.

WaRninG: After popping, the base is hot! Grasp handles only.

Use caution to avoid burns.

9. Serve popcorn from the clear lid or empty into a large serving bowl.

10. Sprinkle fresh popped popcorn with salt or other seasonings, if desired.

TO POP ADDITIONAL BATCHES OF POPCORN

1. Empty the fresh popped corn into a serving bowl.

2. Allow Popcorn Popper base to cool completely.

3. Continue popping another batch of popcorn following the Operating Instructions

previously described.

USER mAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user serviceable parts.

Do not try to repair it yourself. Any servicing requiring disassembly other than cleaning

must be performed by a qualiﬁed appliance repair technician.

CARE & CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

caution: Never immerse the Popcorn Popper base, cord or plug in water or other liquid.

1. Unplug Popcorn Popper and allow to cool before cleaning.

2. The Popcorn Popper should be cleaned after every use.

3. Wash the clear Popcorn Popper lid and plastic lid cap in warm, soapy water.

Use a soft cloth or kitchen sponge. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

4. WARNING: To prevent scratching, never use abrasive scouring pads, steel wool,

or scouring powders.

5. Following the instructions previously described in Before Using for the First Time section

of this instruction manual, remove the rotating rod from the center stem. (See Figure 2.)

6. Wash the rotating rod and center knob with warm, soapy water using a soft cloth

or sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Replace the stirring rod after cleaning the base,

making sure it ﬁts into the notched area around the screw. Replace the center knob.

7. Clean the base’s non-stick popping chamber with a slightly soapy cloth, sponge

or nylon-scouring pad. Wipe with a clean damp cloth and dry thoroughly.

8. After consistent use, the non-stick ﬁnish may discolor. To remove discoloration,

use a soft cloth saturated with lemon juice or vinegar and apply to the ﬁnish.

Then wipe the ﬁnish with a damp cloth and dry.

9. caution: Never place the Popcorn Popper’s clear lid, plastic lid cap, or rotating rod

in the dishwasher.

STORING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Unplug unit and allow to cool.

2. Store the clean Popcorn Popper fully assembled.

3. Snap the lid cap in place.

4. Place the clear Popcorn Popper lid onto the base. Make sure the lid handles

and the base handles are aligned. Store the Popcorn Popper in its box

or in a clean, dry place.

LIMITED ONE-YEAR WARRANTY

SENSIO Inc. hereby warrants that for a period of ONE YEAR from the date of purchase, this product will be

free from mechanical defects in material and workmanship, and for 90 days in respect to non-mechanical

parts. At its sole discretion, SENSIO Inc. will either repair or replace the product found to be defective, or issue

a refund on the product during the warranty period. Any refund to the customer will be at a pro-rated value

based on the remaining period of the warranty.

The warranty is only valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase and is not

transferable. Keep the original sales receipt, as proof of purchase is required to obtain warranty validation.

Retail stores selling this product do not have the right to alter, modify, or in any way revise the terms and

conditions of the warranty.

EXCLUSIONS: The warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the

following: negligent use of the product, use of improper voltage or current, improper routine maintenance, use

contrary to the operating instructions, disassembly, repair, or alteration by anyone other than qualied SENSIO

Inc. personnel. Also, the warranty does not cover Acts of God such as re, oods, hurricanes, or tornadoes.

SENSIO Inc. shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by the breach of any

express or implied warranty. Apart from the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty

of merchantability or tness for a particular purpose is limited in time to the duration of the warranty.

Some states, provinces or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential

damages, or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, and therefore, the above exclusions or

limitations may not apply to you. The warranty covers specic legal rights which may vary by state, province

and/or jurisdiction.

HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE: You must contact Customer Service at our toll-free number:

1-866-832-4843. A Customer Service Representative will attempt to resolve warranty issues over the phone.

If the Customer Service Representative is unable to resolve the problem, you will be provided with a case

number and asked to return the product to SENSIO Inc. Attach a tag to the product that includes: your name,

address, daytime contact telephone number, case number, and description of the problem. Also, include a

copy of the original sales receipt. Carefully package the tagged product with the sales receipt, and send it

(with shipping and insurance prepaid) to SENSIO Inc.’s address. SENSIO Inc. shall bear no responsibility or

liability for the returned product while in transit to SENSIO Inc.’s Customer Service Center.
