Halo 104 Smoke Detector

Below you will find brief product information for Halo 104, an accessory for your Halo alarm system. It uses an optical smoke density chamber to detect the presence of smoke particles in the background air.

The Smoke Detector is an easy-to-install wireless technology device that can be added to your Halo system by pressing the 'learn' button on the back of the panel and then pressing the button on the Smoke Detector. Once added, it will appear in your account on the My Equipment page.

The Smoke Detector has a self-calibration process that begins when it is initialized. During this process, the sensor takes a series of readings to acclimatize itself to the background environment. Once complete, the sensor will continuously monitor for changes in the levels of particulates (smoke) in the environment and trigger an alarm if necessary.
