Accidental Damage Protection coverage, coupled with warranty, provides a “no fault” service
coverage plan. This service provides an unlimited number of repairs over coverage term and a
single replacement (if required) with a comparable system. Typically the cost of repair for damage
from drops, spills, falls, depending on damaged components, is $400 to over $1000. Accidental
Damage Protection is a small investment to cap unplanned expenses.
Onsite warranty upgrades provide for a 24x7 phone support line for problem diagnosis and resolution
if possible. For issues requiring an onsite technician this level of service provides for the dispatch of
a Lenovo certifi ed technician to your location on the next business day (in most locations).
Priority Support provides direct phone access to advanced level technicians to assist in break/
fi x, warranty problem determination and resolution via phone. Web based tracking and escalation
of issues along with support for preloaded software (consult list of applicable programs, assumes
customer has license to software) is also provided.
Lenovo Online Data Backup and Recovery provides a secured, automatic remote storage solution
for business documents and data. Backed by industry storage leader EMC, this offering provides
256-bit encryption and a private encryption key for security that no one other than you has access
to for the ultimate security solution. It has an intuitive interface allowing for confi guration to your
requirements and automated backups to minimize user intervention for routine backups.
The Secure Business bundle provides a value with three of the most popular services to protect
HW and data. The bundle includes an onsite warranty upgrade, accidental damage protection and
50GB of Online Data Backup storage capacity and is priced at an approximate 20-30% discount
over the a la carte offerings.
Hard Drive Retention provides those who place the utmost importance on privacy of data the rights
to physically retain their hard drive in the event of failure or replacement. Without this coverage, while
a failed hard drive replacement would be covered
