STEP 1: CABLING

1-1. Connect the power adapter to this product and power it on.

 The LED of Power will illuminate after this step.

1-2. Apply the UTP cable to connect your Cable/DSL modem to this product’s Internet port.

 The LED of Internet will illuminate after this step.

1-3. Use a network cable to connect your PCs’ Ethernet ports to one of this product’s LAN (1

to 4) ports.

 The LED of LAN port you plugged into will illuminate after this step.

STEP 2: INSTALLING WIZARD

Note: To configure this device, you must have IE 4.01 or above installed.

1. Load the setup CD-ROM onto your computer. The auto-execution file will start

automatically.

2. Select Quick Setup Wizard.

3. The self-explanatory wizard will guide you through the installation procedure. Follow

the on-screen instruction to proceed.

STEP 3: CHECKING THE INTERNET CONNECTION

You can open a new web browser to surf the Internet now.

Should the access fail, you can check by the following steps:

3-1. Go to 192.168.1.254;

3-2. Select Network status\Connection Status in the left pane,

3-3. If the IP address field displays anything except 0.0.0.0, it means the Internet connection is

well established. Otherwise (as illustrated below), repeat the whole procedures.
