This appliance is for household use and may be plugged into any
AC electrical outlet (ordinary household current). Do not use any
other electrical outlet.
HOW TO USE THE HEAT CAP
The heat cap is ideal for professional hair conditioning and heat
treatments without the drying effect of hot dryers. It can add
softness and manageability to normal hair and help to restore
natural beauty to hair that has been damaged by the elements or
by harsh chemicals. Comfortably fitting cap features a hand
control with three heat settings, an adjustable elastic chin strap
and a reusable inner liner. Cap may be used with any conditioning
cream, lotion or rinse, including henna.
Before placing cap on head, rub chosen preparation thoroughly
into hair. (Hair may be wet, slightly damp or dry. DO NOT use with
rollers.) Cover head with inner liner. Plug in heat cap. NOTE: Be
sure hands are completely dry before plugging or unplugging unit.
Place cap on head. Fasten strap and adjust for comfort. Adjust
heat control to desired level. Cap should be left in place from
10-30 minutes, depending on type of treatment and results desired.
Leaving cap in place for longer than 30 minutes is not
recommended.
When treatment is finished, turn off unit and remove cap from
head. Unplug unit. Remove inner liner, and brush and comb hair
into style desired.
This appliance contains no user serviceable parts. Do not try to
repair it yourself. Refer it to qualified personnel if servicing is
needed.
TO CLEAN: ALWAYS SWITCH OFF AND UNPLUG CAP AFTER USE.
LET CAP COOL THOROUGHLY BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO CLEAN IT.
NEVER IMMERSE CAP IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
Both inner and outer surfaces of heat cap may be wiped with a
clean, damp cloth or sponge. If desired, a little mild liquid soap
may be added to the water to remove any residue that may be left
on the cap. Inner liner may be immersed in warm, soapy water and
rinsed with warm water to eliminate all traces of conditioners, etc.
After cleaning, make sure cap and liner are thoroughly dry before
plugging unit in and attempting to use it again.
TO STORE: Store cap in its original box or in a clean, dry place.
Never store while cap is hot or still plugged in. Store the cord
loosely coiled; never wrap it tightly around unit. Do not bend, fold
or crush cap when storing, as this may cause surface cracking or
peeling.

POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the
other). As a safety feature, this plug fits in a polarized outlet
only one way. If the plug does not fit into the outlet, reverse the
plug and try again. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified

LINE CORD SAFETY TIPS
