The target group for these installation instructions is specialist staff trained on BMW cars.

All servicing, repair and installation work on BMW cars is completed at your own risk.

All work is to be carried out using current BMW

BMW cannot accept any liability for damage caused by a failure to follow the work and

instructions set out in these installation instructions. If the part is installed and used

improperly and not as set out in the installation instructions, all warranty claims to BMW

AG shall be rendered void. (The rubber pad on the BMW aluminium footrest must be

checked for signs of wear at regular intervals. A badly worn rubber pad must be replaced

by a new rubber pad since otherwise your safety cannot be guaranteed when you are

driving the car.)

The supplementary sheet supplied with the kit is to be placed in the car after the installation

of the BMW aluminium footrest.

C Torx screw K4 x 10 (self-tapping thread) 6x

D Drilling template (Order No. 01 29 0 136 496) 1x

footrest (1) on the side footwell trim (2) in the

centre between the edge radius on each side.

Adjust the bottom right corner of the drilling

them.

Press the rubber pad (B) into the aluminium plate

(A) from the rear. Secure the aluminium plate (A)

footrest (1) in the side footwell trim (2) using the six

Torx screws K4 x 10 (C). Tighten the Torx screws

K4 x 10 (C) by hand.

Assemble the car again following the instructions for its dismantling in reverse order.
