TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
Fault Possible cause Solution
If the appliance does not
start.
The plug is not connected to the
main socket.
Check that if the plug is correctly
fitted to the main socket.
The appliance is not switched on. Switch on the appliance as instruction.
Socket does not carry current. Test the vacuum cleaner on another
socket that you are sure is carrying
current.
The power cord is damaged. Replace new cord by service centre or
professional technician.
The cleaning result is
unsatisfactory.
The dust container is full. Empty/change the dust container.
The filters may be blocked. Clean the filter as instruction.
Nozzle, telescopic tube or suction
hose are blocked.
Remove the obstacle. If necessary, use
a long wooden stick to do this.
The power is setting on low gear. Slide the speed control button to
adjust to high gear.
The rocker switch of floor brush
is in the wrong position.
Set the rocker switch of floor brush to
correct position for the particular type
of floor (carpet/hard floor).
The filter is dirty. Change/clean the respective filter.
The appliance makes unusual
noise.
Sucked-in objects are obstructing
the air stream.
Remove the objects. If necessary, use
a long wooden stick to do this.
If the appliance stops. The thermal fuse may have
tripped.
The appliance is fitted with a thermal
fuse, which prevents the appliance
from overheating. If the thermal fuse
tripped, the appliance automatically
switches off the motor and must cool
before it can be started again.
Restart
1. Turn off the machine and unplug
from the wall socket.
2. Make sure that nothing blocks the
air fl ow through the bent tube,
hose, tube, nozzle orfi lters.
3. Let the appliance cool. It needs
about 45 minutes.
4. Plug in the appliance again and push
the start button. The appliance will
not start until cool enough. If the
appliance does not start, turn it off
and unplug. Try again in a while.
