CHANGE FILTER AND EMPTY THE COARSE SEPARATOR
A new filter needs to be fitted when the suction becomes inadequate, or the indicator lamp is
showing FILTER FULL. The coarse separator usually needs to be emptied only when the filter
is changed, but heavy use of some types of electrodes may call for more frequent emptying.

FIGURE 6 CHANGE FILTER
1. Switch OFF the unit. Remove suction hose.
2. Loosen the filter indicator hose (B).
3. Turn down the handle (A) and remove the coarse separator (C). The handle works as

4. Pull out and dispose the old filter.
5. Insert a new filter.
6. Unscrew the locking screw (D) and remove outer part.
7. Empty the coarse separator.
8. Check the rubber seal around the separator for any signs of damage.
9. Reassemble the coarse separator. Lock with the handle.
