THIS INSTALLATION MUST BE PERFORMED BY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL FAMILIAR WITH STAN-
DARD SAFETY PRACTICES.
WARNING: ELECTRIC SHOCK can kill
• Do not touch live electrical parts.
• Turn OFF welder or power source, and remove input power plug from receptacle before beginning this
installation.
FALLING EQUIPMENT can cause serious injury and equipment damage.
• Have a person of adequate physical strength lift unit. The unit weighs approximately 55 lbs. (25kg).
• Do not place any part of the body under the unit while lifting.
IMPORTANT: Refer to Running Gear/Cylinder Rack Illustration when performing this installation.
IMPORTANT: Retain all hardware removed during this procedure for reinstallation unless specifically told otherwise.
A. Installation of Running Gear Wheels (Figure 1)
1. Install wheels (12) and 1/2 in. flat washers (11) onto axle (13), and secure wheels in place with retaining rings (14).
2. Position base pan (16) onto axle. Insert two 1/4-20 U-bolts (15) under the axle (13) and into the pre-drilled holes
located in the base pan. Secure with the supplied hardware.
3. Position swivel casters (17) under the base pan (16), and insert them through the pre-drilled holes. Secure with
supplied hardware.
B. Installation of Running Gear/Cylinder Rack (Figure 1)
1. Position the two top tray brackets (20) over the appropriate pair of pre-drilled holes in the sides of the base pan
(16). Secure each bracket with the supplied hardware.
IMPORTANT: If the gas cylinder support brackets (8) are to be installed, position the top tray brackets (20) over the
first pair of pre-drilled holes. If the gas cylinder support brackets are not to be used, position the brackets over the third
pair of pre-drilled holes.
2. Position the tray support bracket (9) over the appropriate pair of pre-drilled holes in the base pan (16). Secure
bracket with supplied hardware.
IMPORTANT: If the gas cylinder support brackets (8) are to be installed, then position the tray support bracket (9) over
the pair of pre-drilled holes nearest to the front of the base. If the gas cylinder support brackets are not to be used,
position the brackets over the pair of pre-drilled holes furthest from the front of the base.
3. Position welder/power source mounting tray (4) over the two top tray brackets (20) and tray support (9) brackets.
Secure tray to the tray support bracket with the supplied hardware.
4. Position tray pan (1) over the pre-drilled holes in the welder tray (4) and top tray (20) brackets. Secure tray pan
with the supplied hardware.
5. Position one gas cylinder support bracket (8) over the pre-drilled holes in the tray support bracket (9), and position
the other gas cylinder support bracket over the pre-drilled holes of the other two brackets. Secure gas cylinder
support brackets with supplied hardware.
6. Insert cylinder holder strip (7) in the appropriate pre-drilled holes in the gas cylinder support brackets (8). Secure
strip with supplied hardware.
CAUTION: USING A TOO HEAVY GAS CYLINDER CAN CAUSE TIPPING resulting in cylinder and
equipment damage and personal injury.
• Use a 20 lbs (9 kg) or smaller cylinder only.
• Do not exceed maximum cylinder weight of 20 lbs (9 kg).
• Install welding power source onto running gear before installing cylinder.
