Safety:
Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into

This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar
applications such as:
-staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;

Before first use:
Before using for the first time, boil fresh water at least twice in the appliance. Use
only cold water without any additives or ingredients.
Using the appliance:
1) Connect the base of the kettle into a 240V mains power socket.
2) When the base of the kettle is plugged in and switched on, it will beep
twice, and the screen will be on.
3) If there is no glass kettle on the base, the display on the screen will read
E1. When the display reads E1, no buttons will work.
4) Fill the kettle with cold fresh tap water. Ensure the kettle is filled over the
minimum level and under the maximum level, and the lid is securely
placed back on.
5) Put the glass kettle onto the base. The screen display on the base will be
on and will show the temperature of the water inside the glass kettle.
Operation:
ON/OFF
1) Press the ON/OFF button to begin heating the water in the glass kettle.
2) Press the ON/OFF button again to stop heating the water in the glass
kettle.
3) When the glass kettle is heating the water, the blue indicator light will
illuminate.
4) When the glass kettle is not heating the water, the blue indicator light will
not illuminate.
5) The default temperature to boil the water is set to 100°C.
6) If the ON/OFF button is pressed while the water inside is as hot as the set
temperature, the base will beep 3 times and the indicator light next to the
ON/OFF button will also flash 3 times.
7) The temperature can be adjusted between 20°C 100°C in 5-degree
increments.
8) Press the + and - buttons to adjust the temperature. The temperature will
be displayed on the screen.
9) You can also press and hold either the + or - buttons to adjust the
temperature. Take your finger off the button when your desired
temperature is shown on the screen.
10) When your desired temperature is shown on the screen, press the ON/OFF
button to begin heating the water.
11) While the water is heating, the screen display will show the temperature of
the water increasing as it heats up.
12) Once the glass kettle has reached your chosen temperature, the kettle will
stop boiling and the base will beep 3 times.
13) If you need to stop heating the water, press the ON/OFF button again.
KEEP WARM
14) This kettle features a keep warm mode. When the glass kettle is on the
base, use the + and - buttons to set your desired temperature.
15) When that temperature is shown on the screen, press the KEEP WARM
button once to put the kettle into keep warm mode.
16) The kettle will then heat the water to that temperature and when it senses
the temperature has dropped, it will heat the water back up to that
temperature.
17) Press the KEEP WARM button again if you no longer want to use the keep
warm mode. The maximum keep warm time is 8 hours.
18) When the kettle is in keep warm mode, there is a blue indicator light next
to the keep warm button.
19) When the kettle is not in keep warm mode, the blue indicator light will not
be on.
20) If no buttons have been pressed on the base after 10 minutes and the
kettle is not in any mode or operation, the screen will shut off and the
kettle will be in standby mode.
21) The memory of setting a temperature is limited to 10 minutes. After this
time, it will restore to the default temperature of 100°C.

3) To clean the base, wipe it with a soft dry cloth.
4) To clean the outside of the glass kettle, wipe it with a soft moist cloth.
5) Never use scouring pads or abrasive materials on any of the parts.
6) Never clean the inside of the glass kettle with a vinegar solution.
