MAC PRO® SLED ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR RKIT-MP

(Part Number UPGMP-SLD)

1. Install the MAC PRO® units onto the computer mounting brackets with the clamps provided, using a flat

horizontal work surface such as a desk or workbench. An illustration of assembling the MAC PRO® into

its bracket while resting on a horizontal surface is shown. (See Figure 1.)

Make sure the thumbscrews are tight and the MAC PRO is secure. (See Figure 2.)

2. Using the hardware kit included with the shelf, install the screws and nuts onto the front of the rack at the

location the shelf will be installed. (See Figure 3.)

3. Carefully slide the slider bracket with the MAC PRO installed, into the mounted shelf. Using the two

thumbscrews on the front of the brackets to secure the slider to shelf. (See Figure 4.)

4. Install external cables and tie along the mounting bracket using Velcro straps provided as shown.
