Tripp Lite N235-001-SH is a Cat6 Gigabit Straight-Through Shielded Coupler that can be used to extend the length of Cat6 Shielded patch cords or in standard data wallplates to provide feed-through patching. It has a fully shielded housing that reduces EMI/RFI interference and is EIA/TIA Category 6 compliant. The Keystone design allows multiple connection options, including being used as a stand-alone unit, mounted in a faceplate, or blank keystone type patch panel. It is backwards compatible for use with Cat5e and Cat5 LANs and has 50-micron gold contacts.
