2. Intended purpose
This is an entertainment electronics device.
The headphones are intended for sound playback
from audio devices at a normal listening volume
and as a headset.
In addition, the noise cancellation can be activated
to suppress environmental noises.
The device is designed for private use. This device
must not be used for commercial purposes.
3. Safety information
Warnings
If necessary, the following symbols and warnings
will be used in these user instructions:
DANGER! This symbol, in combination
with the note “Danger” means a high risk.
Failure to observe this warning may result
in injury to life and limb.
WARNING! This symbol, in combination
with the note “Warning” means a moder-
ate risk. Failure to observe this warning
may result in injury or serious material
damage.
CAUTION: low risk: failure to observe this warn-
ing may result in minor injury or material damage.
NOTE: circumstances and specifics that must be
observed when handling the device.

DANGER for children and people
with disabilities
~ Children must not play with packing material.
Children must not play with the packing materi-
al. There is a risk of suffocation.
~ This device is not designed to be used by peo-
ple (including children) with limited physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or people with-
out adequate experience and/or understand-
ing, unless they are supervised by someone
responsible for their safety or are instructed by
them on how to use the device.
~ Children must be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the device.
~ Cleaning and user maintenance must not be
performed by unsupervised children.
~ Keep the device out of the reach of children.
DANGER to and from pets and live-
stock
~ Electrical devices can represent a hazard to
pets and livestock. In addition, animals can
also cause damage to the device. For this rea-
son you should keep animals away from electri-
cal devices at all times.

DANGER of accidents due to im-
paired perception
~ Environmental noises are practically
imperceptible with the noise cancella-
tion switched on. With the noise cancella-
tion switched off, the perception of the
environmental noises is also impaired or
changed.
Never use the headphones during activities
when you must be attentively aware of your sur-
roundings, particularly when operating
machinery or vehicles in traffic. (This
also applies to bicycles.) You must also
comply with the legal provisions and regula-
tions of the country in which you are using the
device. On the road, joggers and pedes-
trians should switch off the noise can-
cellation.
DANGER of affecting cardiac pace-
makers
~
The magnetic fields generated by the head-
phones may impair the functioning of cardiac
pacemakers and implanted defibrillators. You
must therefore maintain a minimum distance of
10 cm between the headphones and the cardiac
pacemaker / defibrillator.

DANGER from the battery
~
Check the headphones for damage before each
use. Damaged headphones may not be used.
~ Do not expose the device to direct sunshine or
heat. The ambient temperature should not be
lower than 0 °C or higher than +45 °C.
~ The battery may only be charged with the origi-
nal accessory (USB charger cable).
~ The device must not be covered whilst charging
the battery.
~
If you notice any irregularities (e.g. unusual noises,
strange smells or smoke developing) turn the de-
vice off immediately. Do not use the device again,
but have this checked by a specialist.
~ Protect the battery against mechanical damag-
es, e.g. deformation. Fire hazard!
~ Foreign bodies must not be inserted into any of
the components of the headphones.
~ Should the electrolyte solution leak out of the
battery, avoid contact with eyes, mucous mem-
branes and skin. Rinse immediately with plenty
of clean water and consult a doctor. The electro-
lyte solution can cause irritation.
~ The device is provided with a lithium polymer
battery.
- The battery cannot be removed!
- This device must not be opened!
- This device must not be thrown into fire.
DANGER OF EXPLOSION!
- Completely dispose of the device.

WARNING! Risk of hearing damage
~ Set a low volume on the audio device before
you connect the headphones to the sound
source.
~ Avoid excessive volumes, particularly over ex-
tended periods or in the case of frequent use.
Excessive volume can result in permanent hear-
ing damage.
WARNING! Risk of material dam-
age
~ Protect the device against damage, e.g. from:
- Drips and splashes as well as containers
filled with water (e.g. vases) that might tip
- Heat, direct sun radiation and open flames
(e.g. candles)
- Impacts and similar violent effects
~ Protect the cable against damage, e.g. from:
-sharp edges
- hot places
- clamping or crushing
~ Do not use any astringent or abrasive cleaning
agents.
~ To avoid any risk, do not make modifications to
the device. Repairs must be carried out by a
specialist workshop or the Service Centre.

5. Before using for the first time
Remove all packing material.
Check that the device is undamaged.
Charging the battery
WARNING! Risk of material dam-
age!
~ The battery must only be charged using the USB
charger cable|14 supplied.
NOTES:
The charging time for the battery is approx.
2.5 hours.
When the battery is fully charged, the operat-
ing time is approx. 13 hours.
Without the battery charged, you are able to
use the headphones like regular headphones.
Then the active noise cancellation will not work.
While the battery is being charged, you can
switch on noise cancellation. However, this will
extend the charging time.
In order to increase the service life of the bat-
tery, we recommend using the device regularly
and without extended storage periods.
When the battery is almost flat, the LED|16
flashes in yellow.

1. If necessary, switch off the noise cancellation
using the ON/OFF|17 button (to OFF).
2. Insert the larger plug of the USB charger ca-
ble|14 into a USB port with power supply such
as a computer, laptop or a USB power adapter
corresponding to the specifications on the rat-
ing plate of the in-ear headphones.
3. Insert the small plug of the USB charger ca-
ble|14 into the micro USB port|15.
The LED|16...
is lit red while the device is being charged.

6. Operation
6.1 Connecting
1. Set the sound source to a low volume.
2. Insert the jack|12 into the headphone socket of
the sound source (such as MP3 player, smart-
phone).
6.2 Put on the in-ear headphones
1. Put both earphones|2/9 into the ears so that
the marking R|8 is on the right-hand side and L
is on the left-hand side.
2. If necessary, fit the earphones|2/9 to the ears
by selecting and positioning the larger or the
smaller ear hooks|1/11 and in-ear cushions|3:
- Remove in-ear cushions.
- Remove ear hooks.
- Position newly selected ear hooks.
- Position newly selected in-ear cushions.
6.3 Controlling the volume
The volume can be set via the sound source or
the in-ear headphones:
- decreasing via the |5 button and
- increasing via the +|7 button.
Make absolutely sure that you are still able to
hear the surrounding sounds.

6.4 Multifunction button
NOTE: it is possible that not all functions of the mul-
tifunction button will be supported by your connect-
ed device. Some devices and software versions do
not support all the functions.

6.5 Active noise cancellation
The in-ear headphones is provided with an active
noise cancellation. This means that the ambient
noises have been cleared by specifically generated
counter-signals.
The noise cancellation only works when
switched on, and the battery is charged.
With the noise cancellation switched off, you
are able to use the in-ear headphones regularly
as headphones.
DANGER of accidents due to im-
paired perception!
~
Keep the noise cancellation switched off if you
must perceive ambient noises such as traffic.
Switch on by pushing the ON/OFF|17 button
to ON. The LED|16 and the LEDs on the ear-
phones|10 are lit green.
Switch off by pushing the ON/OFF|17 button
to OFF. The LEDs|10/16 go out.
7. Transport
For transport, the in-ear headphones with all acces-
sories can be kept in the supplied bag.

8. Cleaning / storing
WARNING! Risk of material dam-
age!
~ Protect the device from water drops and water
splashes.
~
Do not use any astringent or abrasive cleaning
agents.
If necessary, clean the device with a soft, damp
cloth.
If you do not use the device for an extended pe-
riod of time, charge the battery approx. every
3 months to prevent a deep discharge of the
battery and maintain the capacity of the bat-
tery.
When not using the device, store it in a place
where neither high temperatures nor moisture can
affect it.
