UPGRADE YOUR PS5 CONSOLE
Rather than creating a heatsink that
would only trap the dissipated heat by
the metal cover, we designed the
heatsink to replace the metal cover. This
does two things: firstly this allows the
heatsink to be cooled from the fan rather
than negative pressure, which results in
more stable and cooler temperatures.
Secondly, it makes the heatsink larger,
allowing more heat to be transferred
from the SSD.
The heatsink is cooled from the fan and
allows more heat to be transferred from
the SSD before saturating the thermal
capacity.

The PS5 console Expansion slot only
utilises negative pressure to remove the
heat, trapping the heat inside when using
the metal cover.
