Installation Instructions
2‑PLUG SYSTEM
CAUTION
Batteries normally produce explosive gases,
which can cause personal injury. Therefore,
do not allow ames, sparks, or lit tobacco
to come near the battery. When charging or
working near a battery, always cover your
face and protect your eyes, and also provide
ventilation.
Batteries contain sulfuric acid, which burns
skin, eyes, and clothing.
Disconnect the battery before removing or
replacing any electrical components.

NOTE: Fuse holder and fuse are to be installed
between the POSITIVE (+) vehicle battery terminal
and the end of the supplied snowplow vehicle
battery cable assembly.

Instructions for Kit with
Clear Fuse Holder Cover
1. Turn OFF the vehicle ignition.
2. If previously connected, disconnect the
snowplow vehicle cable assembly and both the
NEGATIVE (–) and the POSITIVE (+) vehicle
battery cables from the vehicle battery terminals.
3. Remove the fuse holder cover, loosen and remove
the fuse holder fasteners.
4. Install a at washer onto each fuse holder stud.
5. Install a 200A fuse over the washers.
6. Place the ring terminal of one end of the supplied
8" cable directly on top of the fuse lead.
7. Install a at washer, followed by lock washer and
nut, and hand tighten the nut.
8. Place the red lead from the snowplow vehicle
battery cable onto the second fuse holder stud,
placing the cable ring terminal directly on top of
the fuse lead. Install at washer, lock washer, and
nut. Hand tighten the nut.
9. Torque the fuse holder nuts to 106159 inlb.
10. Snap the fuse holder cover into place.
11. Connect the 8" cable from the fuse holder to the
POSITIVE (+) battery terminal.
12. Reconnect the black cable to the NEGATIVE (–)
battery terminal.

Fuse Holder Cover
1. Turn OFF the vehicle ignition.

pressing it down to lock it into the holder.

battery cable onto the second fuse holder stud,
placing the cable ring terminal directly on top of
the fuse lead. Install lock washer and nut. Hand
tighten the nut.
8. Torque the fuse holder nuts to 106159 in‑lb.
9. Snap the fuse holder cover into place.
10. Connect the 8" cable from the fuse holder to the
POSITIVE (+) battery terminal.
11. Reconnect the black cable to the NEGATIVE (–)

FOR VEHICLES REQUIRING 50" OR
90" EXTENDED BATTERY CABLE NOTE: When instructed, make all snowplow
battery cable connections to the auxiliary battery,
if vehicle is so equipped.
NOTE: For vehicles equipped with a tilt cab or
tilt hood, a service loop will be necessary when
making harness or cable transitions from the
cab/hood to the frame. Check the cable installation
for interference by raising and lowering the
cab/hood a number of times. Add anti-chang
material (installer-supplied) as needed.
NOTE: Use dielectric grease on all electrical
connections to prevent corrosion. Fill receptacles
and lightly coat ring terminals and blades before
assembly.

Fuse Holder Cover
1. Turn OFF the vehicle ignition.

POSITIVE (+) battery cables from the vehicle
batter y.
3. Route the supplied vehicle battery cable from the
grille or bumper to the battery, avoiding any sharp
edges and hot or moving parts. Cable tie only the
end section closest to the grille.
The vehicle battery cable may need to be
lengthened on vehicles with batteries located
under or behind the cab. If lengthening of cables
is necessary, use the supplied fuse holder as the
junction block. Mount the fuse holder on a at
surface within reach of the red vehicle battery
cable end.
4. Remove the fuse holder cover, loosen and remove
the fuse holder fasteners.
5. Install a 200A fuse onto the fuse holder studs,
